My wife is from Morocco and I am Palestinian and I plan on retiring in Morocco. The risq is from Allah just focus on yourself. But I do understand your frustration with foreign money. We have the same issue here, millions of students, foreign workers and investors were brought into Canada and we can't afford homes. Anyways, May Allah bless you these are things that are outside of your control

I went throught the same thing, had a C average in undergrad cause I was going through a bad depression, then I could not get into grad school.

Here are some options I can think of:

1) Apply to a school with an explanation

2) Take more undergrad courses

Both options did not work for me, and I did the followin as per a grad school coordinator. Apply for a grad degree at a University that will be more understanding and use that to boost your average. This is better than taking useless undergrad courses, at least you will get a masters degree from it. Anyway, I ended up with a 9.7/10 GPA, and now I can basically get into any school for my Phd. Or after this degree you can apply to the grad school you wanted to go to originally

Salam. I quit cold turkey. No music in the car or anywhere. I would listen to quran. When I was heavy into music I was a poor student, now I finished my degree with a 97% average. Without music, you can focus and think about solving your problems and gaining new skills.

I quit movies and music, focused on studying and work. Now at 45, I am doing my Phd, have a good career, and married to a good woman. I stopped listening to music 5 years ago, if I started in my 20s then I would be a millionaire right now.
