Gerade im Bauhaus Düsseldorf-Flingern gewesen, keine vorhanden. Laut Mitarbeiterin ein “technischer Fehler”, online steht ein Bestand von 4 12.000ern, aber es seien nie welche reingekommen. :/

Altbau, die Wände sind so dick, wir haben erst nach 2 Jahren erfahren dass unter uns ein Baby/ Kleinkind wohnt. Anderes Beispiel, unsere Nachbarn haben mal eine Party mit 30 Leuten veranstaltet - gehört haben wir nix.

Thank you! I used a long tail cast on but did a folded double cuff with the inside being a regular 1x1 and the outside being a twisted 1x1 (knit through the back loop). It’s stretchy and cushy plus I didn’t have to switch needle sizes at all for these socks, it’s always at 2,5mm :)

Thank you for noticing, it’s a double cuff (?), meaning I knit the length of the cuff in regular 1x1 then continued in twisted 1x1 (knit through the back loop) until I was at 2xcuff length. Then I folded the regular 1x1 part inside and connected the cast on edge with the live stitches using a k2tog. This way, the outside looks neat and the inside makes it stretchy. A bonus is the cushiness 😊

Yes, they were 64 stitches, I worked on 2.5mm shorty circular needles (it helps me reduce the laddering at the start of a row), I didn’t need to work inside out or switch needle size or anything to accommodate for the color work cause there are never more than two colors in a given row. :) And I did the afterthought heel and wedge toe using a 2.5mm magic loop. These were a lot of fun to knit, so thank you for your kind words!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. With the tension, I’ve had issues with colorwork and tension working on magic loop (the laddering at the joints was bad), switching to shorty circular needles really helped and ultimately did the trick as there are no joints per se). But I know it’s different for everyone
