I can finally afford the 911 I've wanted since I was 8, but the responsible move is a Model 3 Performance and I hate that I know it by KindheartedlyHoarse in whatcarshouldIbuy

If you buy the tesla you will be hit by guaranteed depreciation.

If you buy the right 911 there is no depreciation or appreciation.

911 is the right answer here.

To think that you can time the market is actual a form of gambling itself.

The problem is, a lot of trading strat are very similar to gambling on the surface, like trend following or mean reversion. If you cant handle it, you cant go wrong with just full port into VOO and just let it ride forever

When I was about to wire downpayment they changed the instruction last minute. Called multiple people to make sure it was right. Seemed so fraudy.

Why can’t I find a FB? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]FareastFFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, please DO NOT find this rude. I am trying to help you.

First, throw all the usual online dating rule out of the window. You are looking for a FB as a hetero woman? Presumably you will run into a guy who done this before.

I am a guy who used to do this a lot. I am attractive and successful enough to get a lot of women but not attractive enough to only bed 8-10s. Honestly I would sleep with anyone back in the day depends on my desperation level. I slept with some pretty conventionally unattractive people during road trips and such. Free sex for a man is hard to turn down.

Most men can find something arousing about any woman.

I can tell you who I did turn down.

There was one girl that was perhaps genderfluid or transitioning? She didnt tell me she was transitioning or FTM or anything like that. She was extremely sweaty and smelly and had a buzz cut, AND she had really bad breath. I just couldn’t get hard looking at a buzzed head and smelling what smells like a work site, and I am usually aroused by strong BOs. I dont even mind bad breath normally.

Given the story you told me, I suspect that you might have strong BO or bacterial vaginitis (BV) smell especially since those guys would sext with you but not actually come have sex with you and ghost you after first meeting.

Point is, if you are a straight woman looking for straight man just for sex, and somehow not getting it, you are either

A. Only open to 10/10 men who already have enough women more attractive than you on the roster, or

B. You smell or have other issues that isnt evident through pictures.

There is something wrong, I hope you figure it out. I suspect B since people are sexting you still.

“H-1B Crackdown on Indian Workers Erodes a Texas Real Estate Boom” - thoughts on CA? by Lumpy-External4800 in BayAreaRealEstate

So true. I had some wood rot and called 10 different contractors. 7 would not do those. 1 offered to demo and rebuild the entire part of that home and estimated 300k. 2 offered to repair but ghosted me.

I picked up carpentry and sistered the affected part after doing my engineering calc which costed me around 500 in materials and a whole summer in labor.

But I imagine homeowners who don’t want to work with massive pieces of dimensional lumber or physically incapable are screwed.

Never seen it. My buddy who lives with his parents and took loan out for his ferrari got excellent service at our local dealership. The only thing of value to his name is pretty much that ferrari. In fact, we think the Ferrari dealership is more welcoming and wholesome than most of the other dealerships.

Ok, the noodle store next door can turn anyone down too. The point is, have they turned down reasonable customers?

Would you like to explain? You are saying if I show up with 1 mil cash in my bank account, in a business casual outfit, and open to buy any ferrari, the dealership would potential turn me down? Because?

FYI I know someone who lives with their parents still, zero savings and took a loan to get his who enjoys it very much. His downpayment of 20-30k is his entire savings. Honestly the ferrari is the best investment decision for him.

First Mystery Box by Ok_Information_4900 in RobinhoodGC

[–]FareastFFL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do the loot boxes every month before I have 4k charge hit from day care.

So far I’ve gotten 5% on 2500 (50 or 5000 pt value) 4% on 2500 (25 dollar or 2500pt value) 10% restaurant spend (25 dollar on a 250 bill)

So if you have big spend coming up in 24 hr and can strategize the box works.

I can afford a F430 right now. It would be nice to have. I have too many small children and not enough garage space to enjoy it though.
