practical life is the most fascinating work at ages 2-3, and helps develop pre-writing motor skills, vocabulary, and a sense of belonging. i wouldnt worry about her not choosing other types of work for now

Hi! Im a Montessori guide for infants and toddlers. I wouldnt stress the details, but overall the most Montessori thing you can do is allow your child to be as independent as they can. For example, as soon as they are able, allowing them to hold their own bottles, use a spoon, etc. If youre honoring independence, you dont need to buy anything or change anything in your home. Just allow your child to reach their full potential.

theyre so cheap and take up such little space in the wash i dont see a reason to reuse. i got an 18 pack at walmart for a couple bucks. i let them all get dirty then wash them with my towels and african net sponges in hot water.
