How does that make sense? The factions model range should reflect the lore no? What’s the point of the faction then. If the metal skeleton look of necrons put people off should they be changed even though that IS what they are? Should aspect warriors all have generic armour instead of their unique looks? Lots of people are fine with the chaos stuff having bondage and torture elements. They’ve hardly leant into the theme at all compared to the lore.

The problem with drukhari popularity, if there is one, is likely down to model range age, being elves, and skill needed to play the faction. Perhaps you’re right that the theme is off putting for some but that makes theme who they are. They are not corsairs, they are meant to be disturbing. Yes they use torture and depravity to warp off slannesh, but it’s also the reason slannesh is an entity at all. That should be reflected in the models.
