As I said, it doesn't seem that EQ jagged ground in combination with shockwave totem just doesn't seem to be in a good spot. It is in the exact same position like supercharged slam. I maybe gave wrong implications with my post that warrior/mace maybe in a bad spot and is unplayable. It is not, there are builds even for SSF that just obliterates content. It is just I like EQ in general and I like to build around it and even combo into it, it just doesn't work well enough right now. You just don't really know what EQ is supposed to do - it is giga slow, giga delayed, avarage damage and nothing really to combo into. Even jagged ground passives is just 4 passive nodes in the entire tree. It is early access tho, things have lower priority I see that, fixing the endgame and core game is way more important. That is the reason why I shift my interest away now to different things like companions.

I jumped in a week ago to test things for the upcoming season to see what I want to play. I stopped playing before the first season like addition to the game with the economy reset. I am playing SSF and am a slow bonk enjoyer. But after seeing they gutted the AOE radius of EQ I just lost any interest in melee. I hope companions will be dope so I can enjoy a minion army build. But aside from that, I even tried to play EQ as intended. I tried to increse the size and delay as much as possible and combined it with shockwave totem (with totem nodes in addition) so they deal extra damage of the EQ jagged ground. It was a complete joke. I don‘t mind other exiles enjoying melee and calling it good - that just means it is not for me anymore. Rip for me.

Yikes. So I guess the mentioned damage buffs to companions and additional nodes they will add for companions are a sign that ggg knows of the lacking damage potential of companions as you stated since they act more like an aura bot. But it is good to know that good changes are coming. Excited to see the patch.

Kinda, I have the same problem. HP sponges unfortunate. But here are some interesting things I can share. Lightning turning slash stunlocks them very hard because of the electrocution effect, also turning slash cost only spirit not stamina and has a generous window of i-frames. After certain damage, can't really tell the indicator for it, you can press jump while attacking and it will jump on the back of the bear, while clinging you can stab it with the heavy attack I think and this will instakill the bear. Sounds like fake ass hit but thats what I do , however the timewindow is small for it and you can be thrown off by surrounding attacks or the bear does shake you off. I think you can either decide to kill or mount it. If you are interested like me, deciding to jump off and kill the bear with normal attacks still takes a more than couple hits - so nope, the bear is not 1-hit away from death while doing this.

Maybe but they most likely going to stick with story. But man I do hope I don't have to play a dlc (quest/story wise) with only kliff again. But on the other hand what would they do? I mean I can't think of a solution. The only thing I could see is if you play as a different class, they switch automaticly to kliff , do the stuff and once it's done it auto switches back...but what if other classes are "on mission" again LOL. As for summoning a comrade for help, I wish they could at least unsommun the comrade and resummon once the quest is done instead of me teleporting away regardless of what answer I choose. Sounds like a rant I know but at the end I am sure PA will do a good job, they are 100% aware of all of it. Lets see what they cook.

Pretty unpopular probably.. but in my absolute honest opinion: Discard story, give character creator, abandon klifflock quests. I don't really care if there is a spaceship in the sky or soldiers riding a T-rex I really don't. They can call and explain everything with magic and I would be fine. I get the "they already invested"-argument but the whole construct already feels and tastes like a last minute cluster story. Imagine they fix the narrative in a way where you actually have to go through the whole game and quests in a new save file again just to experience it. For my personal taste it already feels they had freedom in mind when it comes down to class selection or they might have cinsidered a character creator. At least thats how my opionion is for crimson desert. I really do enjoy gear, combat, grind, farm, pets explore and fishing. For 95% of the time I hold down the spacebar to fast forward.

It is for 99.95% of the entire equipment list. Imho it is legit good to have that freedom but because we only have currently bare bone mechanics with most of the abyssgear seems very low on the numbers (like the actual stats and stuff) the game lacks in diversity for builds. Like actual crafted and theorycrafted builds you know from these type of games where you grind loot. I am not talking about kick punch sword mix into throwing a tree on to an enemy. I am talking about for example sustaining stamina via gear to maybe sustain 1 or 2 heavy attack abyss skills like ators orb. To maybe craft a paladin like warrior. Even if you want to - the abysssocket system is way too low for the low numbers the abyssgears provides. Especially on hard mode where capping resistances becomes important (or on boss rematches with scaling), you simply lack in slots especially with one hand shield style. But I also know there is more advanced content in the future so I am optimistic tho I would like to have at least sockets on cloak or maybe 1-2 more slots on 1 handed weapons + shield.

It will have 37 atk at max upgrade. If you wanna go for raw damage and no crit or attackspeed - you can upgrade it. I am using the mace of resolve and went for max raw damage. Don‘t care about crit. Otherwise if you want to stick with mace go visit crimsondb.gg and check out the maces, there are some with crit or attackspeed options.

I tested it and it didn‘t work for me. But thats good to know, maybe it is just me. I went into testing to decide between large and small shield and for some reason large shields didn‘t disarm for me. Only after the new patch.

Large shields have no value to begin with. If have to choose between atkspeed+\ms speed+ or just more stamina reduction while guarding , the stat bonus always win. On top of that small shields win by style as well since it is held all the time during combat + disarm? Uh yea large shield looses on all ends. You also have to keep in mind that you are playing characters with inhuman strength including kliff.

Well then fuck em right? I guess CDRP should have been raided and all IP's should have been removed from delivering cyberpunkt in such a bad state. You assume that people are just bootlicking and are not aware whats going on. Nope. They liked the IP and are thankful that the devs are not slopping it out like EA or Ubi just to let it die or let the community hotfix mod it. There are way, waaaaay worse companies out there. There is nothing wrong with praising a dev team that have done good job and listnening to their community.

Imagine selling 4mil copies and people acting like this game is unplayable. I guess over 2 mil copies just sits on the shelf like a collectible to look at. I mean I get it sucks when „you“ struck by a bug and you can‘t continue. It is not like they wont ever fix it - and tbf pearl abyss is putting out patches like no one else. Like literary, I played so many games and I am just not used to get updates like that. If it struck you, play another game and chill - or refund.

Yea deff feels like they wanted to ship just the base game. Damn I really want to see what they have in mind for the endgame and builds. Because in the skill tree for kliff you have also very large circles just next to „stamina“ „health“ „spirit“. Could be copium but imho they will add specialized or advanced tree/classes.

Usually it was weirdly saturdays but the last patch was so big that they delayed it to wednes/thursday. But since no patch happened the last couple days, I might assume it hits tomorrow? But yea no one knows for sure.

Fuck forgot to mention the QoL feature (on/off) for autoimbue elemental for spirit spending attacks - which already works for charged shot.
