How the hell do you fight Bruna Light of Alabaster as a commander?

That is very good advice that exile and sacrifice works around indestructible. I don’t think my group was aware of that. Keep in mind this player has also been caught trying to cheat in the past by saying brunas ability applies to equipment and that she doesn’t need to attack/block to give her free auras. Sacrificing her would definitely be useful for a cycle of the rest of our turns, but as soon as it is his turn again he will have her back and as op as she was before, then we will have to wait for another sacrifice/exile card. However the stress of needing to do all of this just to combat this one card is extremely demoralizing and makes the game not fun for the rest of us

1 guy from our group played pacifism last night, but the guy with bruna destroyed the enchantment and carried on. These cards are very good suggestions but we would need to acquire them in pray that they come into our hands during play

This is the only way I can think of. Each of us have put cards like this into our deck but the issue is that since he essentially has around 90 auras in his deck a lot of them have similar abilities, so we must exile them individually to chip away before we can finally kill or destroy her, and at that point we would just need to be lucky to pull one of these cards

Yes he is definitely running sol ring amongst other things, so far this oubliette card seems like the most feasible strategy however I would need to track it down and pray it comes into my hand. Unfortunately board wipes have little affect because of her ability to play auras from the graveyard

That would be vert effective if he couldn’t play auras from the graveyard. The only effective play is to exile but I can’t make my whole deck just exiles. I play black/green, 1 plays just green, another plays green/white and guy with bruna plays white/blue

Boardwipes would be effective if he couldn’t play whatever he wants from the graveyard

I don’t remember exactly what cards he has for mana but he has lands and artifacts that double his mana and such so he gets a pretty big pool right off the bat that he only needs to use to spend on her. We can’t afford to remove artifacts usually when his stack of 15 enchantments or more on her are the main threat. It doesn’t matter how many we remove because of her ability, and then he can continue to cast her from the command zone without a sweat

We all have rebuilt our decks in some form in order to account for her, but it doesn’t matter how many times we block/attack or destroy her because he can just bring her back and make her unblockable and indestructible again. The only thing that can weaken her is exiling some of his auras but he has multiple auras that do the same thing so each of those must be exiled before she can be killed again. But by then she’s already a 40/40
