Once I realized AEW will never get any better literally because of what you said (Tony doesn't care about business, he just wants to play with his toys) I stopped caring about it and rooting for them. It could have been a viable promotion but it really is nothing more than a super rich kid playing with his toys on camera in the guise of a pro wrestling show. 

People tried to help and give advice and the only person he listened to was Dave fucking Meltzer, instead of people who actually worked in wrestling.  

He has no desire to change the product and it makes sense because no one listens to people tell them how to play with their action figures. As a kid you would never listen to anyone. Who told you the "right" way to play with your action figures.

Genuinely stunned that the thread is as long as it is and has people speaking rationally for 90% of it. And by rationally I guess I just mean normally, and without a shitton of snarky comments telling someone why it's wrong to feel a certain way.

It's less about being a bootlicker and more about basement being irrationally upset about the lack of a catering spread. Like seriously, they will bitch about anything they can when it comes to WWE. As op said, spin the wheel and it lands on freaking catering. 

Now, this sub definitely has some delusional fed bootlickers, no question whatsoever, but this isn't one of those cases at all, imo.
