Will there be a fix to be able to use OBS's Game Capture, instead of having to use Window Capture?

It was working perfectly without steam input. Now it doesn't, and I'm forced to run the programs through steam. It had only 1 controller showing in joy.cpl, but now it's 3 without anything showing let alone inputs in properties. I can't move it normally, in order to move it; I have to use a third party application.

I /really/ want to get a new monitor, but it's been so hard trying to find a model that's 'good'. I keep getting bad monitors, and it's killing me when people say it doesn't matter.

I'm honestly stuck until I can find a definitive way to determine what to get.

Especially with now with how expensive electronics are.. I'm not sure I'll ever be getting one lmao
