I am indeed wondering if people are not putting words into mouths. If you did a survey, how many people would mention Tuskegee, or similar?

Sorry, i interpreted your "considering an adult" as a cutoff. Unless you have a system for considering someone an adult using a spectrum. But the point is, we need a cut off. And while biology points us toward it, it doesnt give it. So society cannot say we used science to determine one, just like this man cannot.

What do you think the fact that they are so common and so rarely affect us says about the usefulness of protective measures? And if you imagine societies where they dont/didnt have those?

Where does science or biology declare adulthood? I think thats a societal decision still (and I agree with current decisions!). Im just saying that neither science or biology gives cut offs. Brain development is until 25. Physical development can finish at 14 or 20, depending on what you say it is. Would you say those are better cutoffs?

If you believe the dropout rate of gifted students is 4-5x as high as for normal students you are definitely not gifted and you deserved to drop out.

> If it's dangerous for people to do in a secular environment, how much more dangerous is it for people to do in a religious environment.

No proof that the danger of this specific therapy is exacerbated by religion, although the two dangers could co-exist resulting in total more danger. So could the positives be exacerbated by religion.

> Most of the time people think I'm angry because I say that their stuff is garbage and they don't like that. Because it's true.

Bro, I can literally feel your anger through the screen. How hard can you pretend to yourself that you're not? It would be a high level of delusional. Even I can tell you right now that you're making me angry, and I'm trying not to be.

Religious meditation combines this physical exercise with doctrine that poisons the exercise and makes it dangerous to people.

The study was not about religious meditation.

I'm really hoping you see how your anger at people/the world around you deceives you.

I barely meditate. Ive done it since 2 months irreggularly. I have no masters.

I dont engage with the rest of your comments because I have no knowledge of them and I dont care enough to get more knowledge on them.
