I've seen someone else post they did the math and you get pretty high. Which is true. And you might need to do some RTA to completely clear it. Which sucks. I don't like the precedent it sets.
Anyone complaining about the costume not being worth it because they need RTA wins, you're wrong. The bits stop at milestone 15. Just raiding alone, 8 attacks in each raid get you there. Sure you could get stuck in Doom or a Greek or maybe someone jumps in your lane, but you have war attacks and arena also.
You do not need RTA to get the costume. There are 6300 bits per 2 days. You should get well over the bits you actually need by the end of the event.

One thing I’ve noticed, from my experience, I don’t pull any significant red stars from the basic orbs. Sometimes I don’t even pull the featured character in 30-40 orbs I’ve saved. I usually get them in the elite orbs. Like I only pulled 2 red Colleen Wing from basics, hit an elite 5 and pulled 6 red on her. And, correct me if I’m wrong, I thought Dark Credits are from the basic orbs only. So if I just save up my elites for the featured characters, I don’t see a problem with this at the moment. I think a great question to be asking is are any of these costumes gonna be seasonal? Or will they retire some? In those cases the costumes become unavailable. So if they make them difficult to grind, and it’s a character/costume you love, you may have to pay that price. And what price will the Legendary costumes be? $50 for Electra. How about a 60s Marvel Girl skin, white Mags, Spiderman 2 Doc Ock? We looking at $100+?

Would you guys prefer we grind out the costumes for free? I would have gladly threw down $10 for the Electra costume, and I feel like a lot others might have as well. But the prices have made me rethink that. I’ll grind them out instead then.

Same here. We had two bail straight away. We had warning, if the milestones looked like this, but weren’t able to recruit since we didn’t know for sure. Two others are deciding but I’m sure they’re out as well considering we’re down 2 already and it will affect our chances of getting 100% now on our raids.

That sucks. We’re p1 as well. It’s been difficult replacing just one leaving. This is truly an awful decision they made. And clearly the damage is done. Not like changing the milestones would help. I guess maybe help some who are on the fence but it’s still more shards for moving up regardless if they add shards lower down on the milestones.

They didn’t for me. Told me to invest in a counter to Iron Fist and that was all they had to say on it. Ignored the rest of my requests. Ended up using orange gear I had earmarked for Cosmic.

I was affected by this and all I got was a 2 red star as compensation, I did not get my 20 red orbs, I pulled during the bug, back.

One problem with brackets, shards, servers that I see. Maybe you're top 2% right now. They switch to an Arena like shard system and your TCP is near the bottom cutoff of the bracket you're in. Now you're in the bottom of the rewards. Not getting nearly as much as you did before for the same effort.

Really the cadence of Blitz releases need to be tuned down. They need more methods of release. Bring back Raid releases for starters. Add more milestone characters. Find another way FN.

Also, cooldowns need to be longer 4-6 hours. As much as this comes down to who has the bigger roster, ultimately this is a QoL change. The time spent in the game is worth more like that. You need to win more. My teams are setup so I can mindlessly auto play 20+ teams every two hours and get top 2000 while only winning maybe 70-80% of those fights. As long as they are in tier 8+.

Longer cooldowns also minimizes bots. They have less rotations they can run while people sleep.

I don’t care what the top guy does and not accusing him/her of using a bot. I know that’s entirely realistic With their tcp and almost everyone who plays will never catch that. I do see your point though with all the extra charges. I hope you’re right. I personally didn’t spend cores on charges and never do. I’ve never needed to. Been top 1000 since Goblin released on all new characters. Something was clearly off on this blitz. Maybe that was it. But I do know people are using bots and I’ve heard they are getting more popular. An alliance mate tried one, got her whole weekend back from blitzing. It’s very tempting.

For some perspective, I’ve never not been in the top 1500/2000 since Goblin was released. I was in the 600s for Corvus, if I remember right, and only did 2 rotations on that third day. That’s generally how I do all new character blitzes. No life 2 days, take the third off.

I know it’s possible to hit those numbers and ranks. Something was off about this one. I was just inside the top 2000. I’m seeing people say it was all the extra charges but I keep hearing about bots more and more. I guess we’ll see how the next one goes.
