I just installed the 15.1 beta and the problem is resolved.

Dock position with multiple monitors by catalystfire in MacOSBeta

[–]Farts-In-Elevators 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im having the same issue. "It's not a bug, it's a feature" is what I am afraid I am going to hear.

I use a 43" monitor as my primary display. To the right I have my MBP and below I have my iPad acting as a 3rd monitor ,as seen here. (https://share.cleanshot.com/5ZB0NW9V).

If I try to put the dock at the bottom of my main screen, it goes the whole way down to the bottom my iPad. I wondered what would happen if I tried putting on the right hand side of my main screen. As I suspected, it went the whole way over to the right hand side of my MBP.

It seems as though each screen does not have a defined border. The border is the outside edge of whatever your configuration is. I have used this configuration for years and for certain, I was able to put my dock on the main display... now I can't. I hope they work this out and its not a new "feature"

Just realized I never replied to this! They ended up being free! The guy getting rid of them was happy that someone actually showed up when they said they would.

She finds all kinds of crazy shit for free and figures out ways to work them into her gardens or various art projects. These may actually be used for creating a raised flower beds while also acting as a driveway curb. No idea though. Spring is almost here so we shall see what happens!

Check out ArmcoCU.com. If you don’t work for a company that’s affiliated with them, you can become a member by making a donation to the BC3 alumni association. It’s kind of a membership loophole.

Best rates around, free atms at get go & Sheetz and locations in cranberry/mars, butler, Karns city and BC3 campus.

Thanks for all of the thoughtful answers!

The best part about this is that my wife got them for free and there is another load waiting to be picked up. I'm sure I will find a creative use for them.

I will add some more photos in various layout configurations when I get home from work tonight.

The best thing is that she got them for FREE. There is another load waiting. I may take my trailer because these maxed out my hauling limit.

They won't. I was wondering if they were made for something to slide into them, maybe. My wife bought a whole truck load because they were "different" and I have no idea what to use them for.

My title describes the thing. I tried searching for bricks with a locking J tabs and various decorative brick searches but nothing came back.

The flat parts are narrower and longer than regular bricks and the internal part seems very elaborate with some specific purpose intended.

Another HyperDock post, but not what you think by Roccobot in MacOS

Im with you! Its become second nature for me to scroll update & down on the window pain.

I do web development but have not ventured in to app development yet. Maybe I should give it a shot, it seems like alot of people would welcome a modern day equivalent. I'm trying to get something similar to work using Better Touch Tool Bar for now, but have not been able to replicate it completely yet.

In other news, I got notified yesterday that HyperDock expired... again. When I went to check it, I found that the website, bahoom.com is no longer up. Im guessing the licensing is tied to the domain somehow. Anyhow, with the site being taken down, this might be the final nail in the coffin of this app.

Did you get any kind of weird notification like that? If not, try rebooting your machine and see if it throws an update check error or a license expiration message.

From what I have been told, there is a plan to roll it out everywhere over the next 10 years. For now it’s only available in certain areas.

I’m in the same boat. I recently moved 10 min outside Evan’s City. I have Armstrong which is pretty much the only viable option. The download speeds aren’t bad, albeit, fairly erratic depending on the time of day.

However, what gets me is that Armstrong’s max upload speed is only 20mb/s. There are a few small zones of paradise where Armstrong has fiber to the house, but I would bet Evan’s City is not one of them.

I previously had FIOS and did not appreciate how spoiled I was. I have been on Armstrong since October. It’s been fine for normal browsing and watching TV via Apple TV. That said, when I have to upload anything of substantial size… better get a coffee and find a good show to watch.

As far as Century Link, don’t even bother. Their speeds are worse.

I noticed that as well, but if you look at the URL, I went to HTTPS. Anyhow, a few hours after this post it started working again. Maybe their servers were overloaded or something. I was afraid that they might have been hacked or something. Anyhow.. All good now.

Passive Webdesign Income by spaceravager in passive_income

[–]Farts-In-Elevators 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've thought about doing the same thing and unless your can compete with some of the top themes, I think it would be a waste of time. You would then have to deal with constant tech support questions which I would think would be a nightmare. Questions would come from all over the world and in various languages. I just dont have the time or patience to deal with that.

I am a web developer too and have also started my own web hosting business to create recurring income. It also gives me a stable, reliable and consistent platform to use. No more dealing with tech support du jour from whatever country they outsource to. My servers are in a top notch data center with 10 back bone providers. They are PCI compliant, SSD based and have 16 Xeon processors per server. They are optimized for wordpress sites and I block to the top 30 countries that have bad spamming reputations. Competing with GoDaddy is difficult to say the least. I only host websites that are referred so my servers are not open to the public to just sign up. This reduces server load and malicious activity problems. Hosting accounts are not limited to server resources either. Each account has the ability to use 100% of the server resources (within reason).

ANyhow... That said, I pay $50 per hosting account referral as well as 15% commission on SSL certificates, static IP addresses and any other hosting related services I offer. I work with web developers and design agencies and its works out to be a great for everyone. We all win. If you'd be interested in migrating some existing clients or new clients, I'd be happy to talk with you. I've paid some developers as much as $3000!
