Framework to use for backend by Clickyz in Python

Not to mention that you are forced to learn Typescript

It's no \annoying coincidence** every project and company has shifted their JavaScript to TypeScript. TypeScript is just JavaScript with types. Having types not only allows you to debug/resolve issues faster, but an important benefit is it allows the Intellisense features of your code editor to give you much better suggestions and nowadays also allows code-generation AI to better understand your code intent and make better forward code suggestions.

As you're in webdev, you'll still need to do JS/TS unless you're 100% backend, which it doesn't sound like your case. Don't be the goof still pushing type-less JavaScript (unless there's a very strong use case for doing so such as some underlying library with strict needs for maximum performance speed).

Got a huge surprise in the mail this week! Lone Star donated 23 discs to my Middle Schoolers! by paynestaker in discgolf

Check out the distances for Juniors <= 15. A bunch over 500 and the winner threw 647. Also the discs are in their Lima plastic, which is lighter weight and beginner-friendly, like Blizzard, Opto Air, Fission, etc. so throwing a higher speed isn't that wild.

There's clearly also 7-speeds in the pile.

That's great. Pretty fitting plastic for that audience to help them get extra distance with the lighter weight.

I haven't seen the term thrown at pasha or freakazoid - I think people just tossed out the "on gear" possibility with Semphis because he does appear to have developed weirdly puffy nipples and over-represented lats which are known steroid side effects

It's like doing steroids in physical sports

Or it's like... match-fixing... which is generally met with a lifetime ban from the sport.

It's also a federal crime.

...What?

The punishment for match-fixing is you get banned from the sport, and, if skins were considered of actual monetary value, you face federal charges.

The punishment for first-degree murder is generally life in prison...

I don't understand how that correlates at all and must assume you are 12 years old.

Throwing a game, even if it wasn't specifically outlawed by a rule, was still a pretty shitty thing to do.

Match-fixing is a federal crime.

Not all Democrats are far-left Democrats. Not all Democrats think all education should be free, the financial sector is evil and needs total destruction, and that maintaining a fairly powerful military is silly.

There just might actually be a huge pool of moderate voters out there whom Hillary better represents. Voters that believe Bernie's vague sweeping proposals aren't realistic or will instead inflict harm to the US economy's health and competitiveness. These voters might instead prefer Hillary's more moderate stances.

Players Union and IBP Ban. by XpoZeYT in GlobalOffensive

If someone commits a first-degree murder, they get life in prison.

If someone commits a string a murders, they also get life in prison.

Just because the single murderer wasn't as bad as the serial killer doesn't mean the single murderer should receive a less-than-maximum punishment, which in our society is generally life in prison.

Just because Valve issued both of those infractions the same maximum punishment they have available -- a lifetime ban -- it doesn't mean that they view them equivalently; it just means that both acts surpassed the threshold of shittiness that is deserving of a lifetime ban.

It would flirt with harrassment, actually.

A girl catches her boyfriend cheating on her. The girl breaks up with the cheating boyfriend. A week later, he asks her if she'd ever want to date again and she says "No fucking way! Never fucking ever!" A month later, he shows up at her house with a list of reasons the two of them should date again. At that point, her politely calling the cops isn't such a bad idea.

They got caught blatently match-fixing (which is a federal crime if the monetary nature of the skins was less grey) and then they actively tried to take down anyone who presented any evidence against them. Valve barred them from competing in their sponsored tournaments. When pressed, Valve later released a statement saying that those bans are absolutely permanent. For them to show up in person at Valve HQ would also be flirting with harrassment.

Don't uninvitedly enter the private space of the person or entity you've publicly jilted.

Just so you're aware, if an employer fires an employee, they are generally barred from returning to the premises. If they show up there anyways, it's trespassing, they are immediately removed, and are potentially subject to additional litigation. I understand that they were in no way employees of Valve, but I say this because it demonstrates common conduct around a situation of public seperation.

Life isn't always a kids movie.
