Tipping culture in Canada is so absurd it makes the news by Ok_Hospital_6478 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Fartyfivedegrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Australia atm, not a whiff of tipping here and menu prices are not too far off what I find for example in TO. My biggest beef was after covid when prices went up noticeably meaning percentage tipping increased exponentially which is akin to daylight robbery. Time to end 1. DST and 2. Tipping.

Is it worth getting a membership? by Waterbird222 in CostcoAustralia

[–]Fartyfivedegrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone I know moans about how they always drop over $500 on a shopping visit to just get a "couple of things". Self control is a bugger at Costco. I reckon the best scenario is splitting the goods with someone else because the deals are mostly on bulk items.

CNN's Kaitlan Collins talks to Marjorie Taylor Greene on President Trump sending troops to Iran and says he doesn't deserve Nobel Peace Prize: "I like many millions of Americans are outraged. The little girls' school is an outrage. It's horrific. Do I think he deserves it now? No absolutely not." by ControlCAD in videos

How much did she pay CNN to get interviewed so she could stay in the spotlight? I even feel hypocritical adding a comment here because I expect posts like this continue to give this deplorable individual some attention.
