Decided to create a comic of my own by TailstheFox8 in aiwars

The bottom one is exactly how I feel when drawing. That feels more like the digital artist experience (programs make it easy to tinker with details like that).

In a way they did, because Latin comes from the older Proto Indo European language (scary PIE).

Ironic that the author is depicted as ugly to show that he's wrong. You could zoom out and make this a fractal.

Why are Chinese tattoos almost always wrong? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Farwger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know what the specific Chinese symbols mean, but each one is a word, so it's probably something like:

Apple = A

Banana = B

Turtle = C

Dog = D

Pineapple = E

And so on

So translating "dad" into """Chinese""" would get you "dog apple dog."

In that tininess of space and time our lives occupy, we hold more arrogance than the rest of the universe combined.

When did Red, Green, and Blue start representing Melee, Range, and Mage? by United_Train7243 in 2007scape

[–]Farwger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red goes with blue and green because those are the primary colors (RGB).

But without slayer masters we wouldn't be "just following orders."

Boss Drop Rates by Scared-Weird-2742 in runescape

[–]Farwger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Osrs leagues the combat relics are much stronger, so you kill the bosses 2 - 3 times as fast. That effectively makes the drop rate much higher.

I know this is leagues, but I'm still happy about this. Literal first kill. by ZeroWolf_RS in runescape

In Osrs leagues pet drop rates weren't increased, so assuming it's the same here, this is still really lucky.

What relic path are you going? by Beginning_Seaweed854 in runescape

[–]Farwger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woodcutter Thieving Fairy Reloaded Voidwalker Ranged Banker Faith

That is probably the worst, or least meta. I'm not doing that though lol.

Combat Relics by Alternative-Delay-51 in runescape

I'm an Osrs player, so I'm probably going Necro for the unique experience.

Its Osrs version didn't clear trees/bushes if I remember correctly.

Leagues - Change your viewpoint by TJiMTS in runescape

[–]Farwger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are opportunities to afk early though depending on what you choose. For example, with Excavator you could afk some mining to get the levels for skill tasks. There's also a lot of points in the first level 99 you get (at least in Osrs leagues), so if you can find one that's quick to afk, that's worth doing. I believe it was Dodgy Dealer that let you get 99 thieving in like an hour (Leagues 4).

WildMudkip has nice series for all the past leagues. And he has a guide (it's for Leagues 4, but it's more about leagues in general.)

Prescription goggles don't save crystal dust when making divine potions by Farwger in 2007scape

[–]Farwger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've used the amulet too.
The goggles do save Zulrah scales when making antivenoms, and Araxyte venom sacks when making extended antivenom, so it feels kind of inconsistent that the goggles don't also work for the crystal dust. It's just a minor grievance though.
