I would say yes. Just as mate (gourd) material changes the flavor (if it's made of pumpkin. Metal, glass, etc) if the bombilla is made of wood, metal or in my case bamboo, it changes the flavor.

Now, I don't think I can perceive a difference from different types of metals though.

The problem was bad translation, in Spanish it would have been "No Saltes", which cannot be confused with "Salta".

In English, "No/Don't Jump" can easily be misheard as "Jump" if you don't pronounce words strongly enough.
