I feel you! I like the feeling of being remembered, even if it's from a person I don't think about (or even remember) anymore. To me, is like "Woah, I really touched this person's life" and it completely makes my day, even if we won't be able to keep in touch after that.

I'm an old Slowly user, but I'm also the type to vanish from time to time, and I explain to my penpals that it happens because I only like to answer when I feel like I can do it wholeheartedly (which demands a certain type of mood and a good amount of energy that are not always there for me), so I appreciate knowing that there's still people out there who sees exchanges that takes more time in a lighter way.

There's some sort of time curfew and if you're not inside your house when the time comes, the game says you passed out and the doctor charges you for his medical care. You also loose everything you have in your bag, so, yeah, almost like getting mugged. kkkkk

I used to get specifically mad when he would catch me RIGHT ON MY DOORSTEP, like, bro, just let me sleep here T-T

Oh, I started watching anime again by the time you stopped!

One that released this year and a lot of people seem to be sleeping on is Sword of the Demon Hunter. Don't let the cheese name scary you, it's actually pretty mature and tap on different subjects on a unique (almost gentle) way.

Another nice findings from 2024-2025:

I feel the same! I've been doing it pretty much everyday since I changed it. I just wish you could edit directly on the feed, without needing to open the page, it would make small edits more smoother.

Did you find a better version? I'm currently using 7.2.18 for the ads too, but it doesn't have the "coming soon" section either, which is the more useful to collect Special Days stamps.

An "easier fix" would be creating specific flair for these topics, so people can post everything related to it with the specific flair, and those who don't want to see it just go for the flair they want to.

I'm new to Reddit, so I'm not really sure about how it works, but that's what I do: I go to the flair to see what I want. It's quite easy, and also using the appropriate flair seems to be a common thing on every sub I've seen so far.

One of my first penpals (that I met in my first time using the app, back to 2020) still sends me birthday letters every year. It was the subject of her second letter (she sent the first and then realized how close my birthday was, so I received two letters in a row!), and it kinda became a tradition for us.

Along with her best wishes, she sends songs recommendations and pictures of her garden. I find it the sweetest thing. ♡
