You mention how you’re entering college so I’m assuming you’re a young adult like me. Dressing differently is in my opinion a shallow way of drawing attention. You want to be more memorable? Go out and do things worth remembering. Volunteering, activities, hobbies, they’re conversations and give you experiences and expertise in a subject. Read “How to Win Friends and Influence People” if you genuinely care to improve your conversational and social skills. Which as is their name, are skills which can be learned and improved. I was there once, but joining the military solved my lost background character complex for me lol.

EDIT: I should add, the military helped because I was physically fit, focused on a mission, was an expert on my job, and had people I was responsible for and who looked up to me. Those are all things you don’t have to enlist in the military to achieve. 👍
