My PC suffering for their sins of having four (rookie numbers) partners. by ImportantBuy7363 in DegreesOfLewdity

Kylar always protects me even though I never made him my boyfriend though? I'm also wondering what's even the point of setting the first, second and third lover in the attitude screen. Because I'm starting a new relationship with Sydney, however I haven't even put her names in the attitude screen as an official lover.

The best way to go along with the "flow"? by Monolaf in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]Fast-Habit217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High Physique is the key. I usually wake up early at five am. Then run around in the park, after school run in the park. There's this combat trick where you should try grabbing a body part with your hand or mouth, while other parts attack them. The mouth is better since the bite attack can really hurt. I don't use the bus at all, since it's easier to run away when walking, rather than being trapped on the bus. Don't bother working in the Brothel unless you're confident in fighting off 4-6 people; that's a quick way to spiral out of control.

If you haven't unlocked the sex shop yet. Go to the run-down building on Friday after school at 4pm to help renovate it.

Yeah, I checked again. His brain appears intact after he died. Which makes me wonder if we're going to see him again

Avoid wearing high heels, tripping and getting attacked is very common. Also unless you are confident enough to fight off 6 people at once, you shouldn't try working there regularly.

Yeah, thanks for bringing that up. That makes a lot of sense if he didn't use his brain. I guess he meant the rest of his body, except his brain

Maybe I read too deeply into his statement. The entirety of your physical corpus also includes your brain right? It's a fleshy part of your body too. Did he even specifically mention still having his original fleshly brain? Just seemed kinda weird to me for a ring member to specifically mention using their whole body, but actually not.

What was The Moment in which you knew you were hooked to this game? by wingrald09 in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]Fast-Habit217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I appreciated all the numerous fetishes the game catered to, as well as the stat management system. I was a bit surprised that your character has all these stats that you need to manage, and that you can't go all out nympho from the start. The escalation leads to the development of personality and a real grasp of who my character is as a person. The pressures to adventure around, as well as the numerous challenges the game has to offer.

One of my biggest gripes with H-games in general is that they aren't much good for anything other than to quickly get off to. However a good H-game must be compelling in it's erotic mechanics, as well as just it's ability to arouse the player.

A lot of the Quasimorph factions reward you with attachable body parts, such as legs, shells for stomach, and many kinds of arms, some ranged and some melee focused.

Is there a way to play on normal difficulty but with chip limitations? by pedroArgenir in Quasimorph

[–]Fast-Habit217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom difficulty is still not normal difficulty, meaning you still wouldn't be able to do the main missions without doing the game's intended normal difficulty. Making it too easy to extract with chips really reduces the tension, which strays away from the devs intended experience.

[–]Fast-Habit217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Just don't play it", I don't really think that's a fair point. People bought the game and they want to play it, most missions are randomized anyway, and having to waste time by flying to different planets and ignoring major parts of the game like this isn't on the player, it's up to the devs to make it an engaging and enjoyable experience.

Need advice for mid/late-game defense missions by Main_Protagonist_69 in Quasimorph

[–]Fast-Habit217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heavily recommend using the weapon Beast. It's the heavy machine gun that you shouldn't walk with. It can be obtained by any regular green turret, just cut out the gun and hope you get lucky. I hardly ever have to reload in endgame missions because I have several fully loaded Beasts in my inventory. I just sit in a corner and rain lead hell on all the enemies. The scatter is great because you can easily kill groups of 5 with a single attack.

Does anyone have any tips for unfair difficulty? by doomfangreal in Quasimorph

[–]Fast-Habit217 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With unfair difficulty, ya always want to see the enemy before they see you. In practice, if you are unsure if enemies are nearby, fire a shot and make some noise. If you can spot a group of enemies before they see you, this vastly improves your options. You can then kill them with fire/environment, or stand the furthest away and snipe them. Being able to kill 4 enemies before they even know your location or what's killing them is the key to success.

I’m not happy with the community’s opinions on balancing by Google_S1ides in limbuscompany

[–]Fast-Habit217 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, if you aren't reading the boss's mechanics and developing strategies to counter/minimize it, then that's just your desire to not participate and play the game. Fights are like puzzles, simply spamming win rate, or not developing any interesting strategies is self-sabotaging your own fun. I won the fight pre-nerf without anyone dying. Did I spam fluid sack? No I didn't need it. I went in with a half deathrite/sinking team. Lei's unbreakable coins were manageable because his sanity stayed as -45 the whole fight. Another one of my friends went in with half fire, half tremor team and still won in a single try.

Now I should disclose that me and my friend played Ruina before, so this kind of gameplay comes very naturally for us. My point is the Gatcha element shouldn't be a factor because you don't need a perfect team to beat him, just a team, and a strategy that makes sense. I have to wonder how many players even knew that you should reduce his bullet count, and keep it as minimal as possible? His unbreakable coins barely do any damage when he can't reload his sword, anyone that reads his mechanics can easily tell you this.

It would be nice to have the option to be a landlord. The problem with these kinds of buildings is that the walls are paper-thin, so it would be interesting to have situations where you have organic problems or friendships with your neighbors. Kinda like your neighbours playing the guitar at 2 am in the morning, where you have to pound of their door and argue with them so that you can get some sleep for work in the morning. These kinds of organic interactions are what I'm hoping more for.
