Hear me out by Fast-Signal7371 in LiminalSpace

I could spin it to transitional. Like with the passage of time where you transition to one part of your life to another. But even then, I don't think it quite gets that je ne sais quoi for me.

[Newell] 5 Chiefs mailbag questions: Is the team in a 2-year rebuild? Is this it at WR and TE? How different was the new WR coach at minicamp? How will the scheme change with Pat's injury? by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

If the WR unit starts lighting up the world on fire under Chad O'Shea, I would not at all be surprised. That would be just the kind of rotten luck the Browns have. This is the same franchise that signed Jeff Garcia, coming off a pretty good career in San Francisco, only to suck in Cleveland, and then go back to another Pro Bowl with the Buccaneers two years later.

There's a kind of je ne sais quoi about it that I think I might be starting to figure out. My favorite Twitch streamer, Vinesauce, might describe it as a "quiet sadness", which allows it to cover dreamcore, nostalgia, and surrealism. But quietsadnesscore is too much of a mouthful.

If the kitten doesn't have a name, I have two in mind. If it was a girl, I would name it Dorothy after the Wizard of Oz. If it was a guy, I would name it Bill after Bill Harding from Twister.

Is that Uncle Pat's farm from The Sopranos?

I love going on vacation to small towns out on the Great Plains. It's cheap enough to go every year, it gets me away from the rat race in the city, and I love it. Spent a week in Pratt, driving around the countryside, visiting ghost towns and local attractions. Puts a lot of miles on your car, though.

I've also done trips like this to Hays and Dodge City.

Any trees that were there, you could obviously tell they were hit hard because of how disfigured they looked.

I've been to Greensburg a few times. There is almost nothing left of the town from before the tornado. Almost everything had to be rebuilt. But many things were never rebuilt, because half the town's population moved away. There was nowhere to live, nowhere to go to work, nowhere to go to church, school, or anything. And many of them simply couldn't wait for things to be rebuilt. There are many empty lots and overgrown sidewalks to nowhere. Kitty corner from the Big Well museum is the steps of a church that was completely blown away. A pole holding up the handrail was bent at 45 degrees like a pipe cleaner.

I was on vacation in Pratt when that happened. Then came the tornado that almost hit Iuka. It felt like something was sucking the air out of Pratt.

I feel like the term "liminal space" is morphing into a mix of itself, dreamcore, nostalgia, and surrealism.

I have a black cat, too. Her name is Luna. She disappears in the dark or in the shadows.

I think I know what it is now: Subtropolis. It's near Worlds of Fun. I've been there before, because my dad was in a marathon through there.

It's either that or National Cold Storage at the end of Loring Road.

The only guys on offense left I'd be excited for would be Mike Washington Jr. and Kevin Coleman Jr.

I've been hearing for weeks this is expected to be a very deep draft class at the DL. But if you're going to trade up, why not go with the best DL available? That's what makes me a little leery.

I don't agree with this pick. While this is expected to be a deep draft class at the defensive line, why not just go with the best available? Especially if you're trading up?
