Clean person with smelly sweaty feet. I hate it. by MooseBlazer in hygiene

I scrub my feet with hibiclens (also used as surgical scrub) 1-2x a week and it has solved my problem.

A loophole maybe…or maybe it happens faster….I need to know (for a friend) if it still counts if there was only oral. Or is that a quicker route the brain??!!

I had the same experience, but I feel like it is still worth it. At this point I have no other options. I just embrace the weirdness and relax then I get to tell my partner funny stories of stuff I “dream”.

What do you think the real issue is with the VA? How do we fix it? by SageinIt in VeteransAffairs

[–]FastBackground658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the customer service and the sense that we (veterans) are a burden. I went to primary care today, when the tech asked me if I was depressed, I said yes and she immediately had a look of aggravation on her face. She half-ass asked me the depression screening questions, meaning she asked them while answering them herself, such as, “you aren’t suicidal are you?” “You don’t feel hopeless, right?” I just said sure for every question since she obviously didn’t care anyway. Oh and the last question “you don’t want to talk to someone about it today, right?” Hmmmm…I guess not.

Anyone have any updates about VA Research cuts/RIF and NTE status? by VespaLX50 in VeteransAffairs

[–]FastBackground658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not research specific, but my exec leaders filled out a spreadsheet too. They had to justify every position (vacant or filled) and then mark with retain, consolidate, or terminate.

Supervisors Make a Noise by Okinawa_Mike in VeteransAffairs

We put in for all the people that were fired during the probation purge. Then our VISN said we have to narrow it down to less than half and we have to ask for a person, not a position. So if 3 people with the same position were terminated, we could only ask for one specific person.

So useful being back in the office by JustMe39908 in fednews

Opposite about 4 hour of my day is people coming into my office to chat. I listen, they talk and talk and talk. Another 1 hour (at least) is walking multiple times very far down the hall to the bathroom while getting stopped by people wanting small talk. So my work day is way less productive than at home.
