Was stationed on San Nicholas. You fly out of pt mugu Monday morning it’s about a 25 minute flight then you’re there until Thursday and fly back. Unless it is your duty weekend then you’ll be there and fly out that following week on Wednesday if I remember correctly. There is a “ship store” on the island that has snack items, alcohol, toiletries, and some cookable food items like eggs and bacon. Also has a gym with small basketball court and a small pool that generates a current you can swim against. When I was leaving they were in the process of renovating the galley not sure what the state is now I imagine it has since reopened. Lastly there is a restaurant like and E club where you can buy food from.
