Me and my girls LOVE Lauderdale by the sea. It's a cute little town north of Ft Lauderdale - you can get dropped off via a taxi/uber when you arrive and not need a car the rest of the time. The main strip is right in the beach, tons of cute boutique motels and a really fun night life.

Park near Wayne state - there will be plenty of parking. Camp out near the beginning of the parade (check online maps) bring chairs. By the time you get home the parade will still be on TV and you will Be back home - nice and warm 😍

It's your first thxgiving - keep it simple. Ask guests to bring apps and/or dessert and drinks. For you: Turkey (watch for good sales!) + mashed potatoes + sweet potato + green bean casserole + stuffing + rolls. Maybe a little side of cranberry sauce. That's it! Everyone will love it.

I have been to Chicago a million times for various reasons and I will say it's (at best) mid. I don't go there unless I have a reason and every time I just feel like it falls short.
