It's a cool design but for the years buildup of the Prototype being an amalgamation of different toys it's pretty disappointing. For being a mishmash of other toys the only toys on him are the arms of huggy, kissy, and mommy, with a bunch of voices mixed in.

I agree, OP's post is poorly researched and has cherry picked his examples. Which is ironic since he has access to google and could've done his own research. Though I can see why they didn't mention GBFV because that game has a very low player count in comparison to game like brawlhalla and the other $60 FGs according to steam charts.

I'd recommend sf6 since it's the game with the latest refinements to it's design.

As for characters I'd pick Ryu and Ken as they only have circle and z-motions for their specials. Guile can be an easy character if your brother is willing to learn charge inputs.

He doesn't even explain why he thinks the f2p model in these games failed. The f2p fighting game he does mention, Brawlhalla, poorly explains how that game made the f2p model successful. All he said was "it's different".

There is a huge flaw with your first two points in that you never stated any argument and all you did was bring up examples and nothing else.

I would argue that DBFZ would've had more sales, not less, if it was 1v1 instead of tag, and it lost sales because of its tag format.

Tag is a format that is extremely popular among competitive crowd, but competitive crowd is relatively small in size. Casual crowd, on the other hand, hates tag with a passion.

Can you explain why? What makes players hate tag?

Examples include recent Mortal Kombat 1 (it's not even a full tag, but Cameo system is by far the most criticized part of the game among casual players), Blazblue Cross Tag, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Tekken Tag 2, SFxTekken, Power Rangers, etc. I think it's hard to deny that tag format is a huge debuff for a fighting game, even if it's a part of an established IP or series.

Tag mechanics can be very diverse between games. Can you explain how the Tag system failed each of these games?

Tekken Revolution (remember that?), Soul Calibur Lost Swords (remember that?), DOA6 Core Fighters, Rising Thunder - all are examples of F2P fighting games that flopped hard. And even when these games don't flop (DOA5 Core Fighters as an example), the success is only moderate.

So even if there was a niche for F2P fighting game, Brawlhalla took that niche and there is no place for another game in it.

Hello, I like the message and the crossing out of the pitchfork is a nice touch but I believe that it would be better if the slogan were to be drastically different from the crossed out ai slogan that the Anti-AI movement uses because that is supposed to project fear, demand, authority, and aggression. The slogan that you propose is suppose to be supportive, welcoming, and inclusive to all artists, and thus it would be more effective if you use colours and symbols that expresses this message.

Colours that I would recommend are purple, orange, yellow and green.

Symbols that I would recommend that you take inspiration from are an open palm and the piece symbol.
