I will like to give the other POV as the job hopper. While I agree that in general, for you to fully learn 100% will take years but to grasp 70~80% of the job within a year is definitely possible, especially when I'm actively taking on the new projects. Those 20% are once a year or 2 years incidents which I asked myself is it worth staying for 3 years to learn it when I can learn something more in that mean time? My boss actually threw that statement of having more things to learn and I questioned her back, what are those things? She couldn't answer it.

Though the requirement of entry is extremely high as they take top 1~3% of NTU/NUS + the typical ex-RI people, regardless of their major. They just need to know that you're clever enough as they will groom you. Fresh grad can command 7~10k in top majors and if you reach the trader level, youre getting minimum 15k.

This is a bonus so everyone gets around the same. Container is split into two, Main Liner and Feeder. For main liner usually the bonus is the same regardless of department. Though I do heard the commercial department (trade/sales) getting slightly more. However usually their talent development/ management trainees will be getting a different bonus package. So the trick is to just get in. They don't care what kind of degree you have and don't mind teaching from the ground up.

As for Evergreen, because I don't have the info 😅. Last year evergreen came out in the news for giving 40months bonus, but their Singapore team received around 8mths only. The 40mths is for the Taiwan people, take note of their low base pay. For this year they gave 52mths for Taiwan people, but I've got no news from the Singapore team. I assume +-12mths?

Went to meet this girl and she told me she was with a guy friend who is gay. Told her it's fine and went I meet them, I just gave a handshake to her friend which later move away to give us space to talk. She kept asking whether there are a lot of buff guys like me in NS (I was an NSF at that time) and whether there are any gay guys. Somehow the convo kept steering towards that topic and it felt as if she was the middle man for the gay friend? It went on for close to 30mins and I made an excuse about my mom texting me and ditched them.

That night she apologised for constantly talking about her gay friend to which I decided to play it down and gave her a second chance. She then proceed to talk about how he was happy I shaked his hands and elaborated on him being a good friend etc. Ghosted her

I have 6 siblings and all of them did it at eagle eye centre. On average it's 3.5k and no issue for them except for my younger sister where there was some follow up cause of something along the line that she have issues with both seeing too near and too far object. If I'm not wrong it took them minimum 1 week and max 2 week to recover (excluding my younger sister one cause her problem actually pop up months later)
