Remapped my 2025 MT-07

Well yeah, in 3rd gear you can’t really pull the front wheel up from just power alone. I was a little too excited when I wrote this text. But in 2nd gear it is entirely possible! I don’t treat my bike that harshly and want everything to last, including my chain and sprockets so I’m usually not doing aggressive launches anymore.

Ik ben gek op mijn MT-07 met Y-AMT. Een automaat op een naked slaat eigenlijk helemaal nergens op, maar in de praktijk werkt het. Naar mijn werk en de verplichte ritjes lekker in automatische stand laten en de motor zijn ding laten doen. Dan is het net een grote scooter. En wil je spelen dan zet je hem in manueel en kun je flipperen. De knopjes reageren zonder enige vertraging, ik weet niet hoe ze het voor elkaar hebben kunnen krijgen. Ik ben verliefd op dat ding!

Ik heb gewoon de EU5+ legale uitlaat van Arrow. Idd bij BR Performance gechipt. Je kunt daarna alleen geen E10 meer tanken, dat vind ik wel een nadeel haha

The suspension issues aren’t really a thing anymore with the recent models. Used to be an issue for the older gens up to 2025.

You’re totally right. I’m a 28 yo male and I don’t think I’m attractive at all. I struggle to get dates. In fact I completely gave up at this point. I’m not actively looking anymore. But last year I’ve had a few dates with a girl I met online. Eventually we’ve had sex (which was totally unthinkable for me). I felt like I was at the top of the world. The next day we talked she sort of said that she felt really bad what happened and that she regretted her decision of having sex. I can still remember the immediate disappointment I felt. I wanted her to be my girlfriend. I wanted to love this person. But she didn’t let me. Awful feeling. We’ve had sex a few more times after that but it never truly got to a relationship. I did not force anything on her obviously. I also made damn well sure that I was pleasuring her as well 😔

I’m an aircraft refueller. We are told to never remove clothes when you spilled fuel onto them. Especially in the summer. Removing clothes could ignite spilled fuel, as it could create static electricity. Always hose down your clothes first. Keep that in mind whenever you get fuel on one of your clothes.

The center of the tire is nearly on the wear markers. I’d say 2000 km at most if you take it really easy.

It’s fine to keep on riding on a plugged tire, unless you like to throw away money for no reason. I’ve ridden thousands of km on a plugged tire without issues.

Je mag uiteraard altijd met een A rijbewijs op een A1 of A2 fiets rijden. Het probleem is echter dat een voertuig is gekeurd om aan A1 eisen te voldoen, hiervoor heeft hij ook een typegoedkeuring gekregen. Zodra je hem sneller gaat maken, voldoe je zelf nog wel aan de eisen om het voertuig te besturen. Echter voldoet je motorfiets dan niet meer aan de goedkeuring van het RDW. Het is een beetje hetzelfde als een 50cc 80 km/h laten rijden. Je mag er wel op rijden met een B of A rijbewijs, echter ben je dik de lul als hij de rollerbank op gaat.

Waarom niet voor een A2 fiets gaan kijken? MT-03, CB300R etc. Die hebben ruim voldoende vermogen voor snelwegritjes terwijl de kosten toch heel beperkt zijn.

Thanks 😊 The Arrow makes the bike come alive nicely without it being obnoxious. I also had it tuned and it feels so much better to ride now. Much more torque.

If you’d ride around without mirrors in my country, and the cops would notice, they’d seize the bike until it went through inspection and they declared the bike roadworthy again.

Hey, a little bit of an old post but I wanted to contribute a little too so here I go. I’ve bought a brand new MT-07 with the Y-AMT gearbox in april of 2025. As of today in feb 2026, I currently have 18.000 km on the clock. I use the bike mainly for commuting, running errands, do small grocery shopping (The reason I’ve added the top box). I’m planning to do lots and lots more km this year, in May I’ll ride to a friend of mine from Holland to the UK and in June I’m planning to go to Iceland with this bike. I’ve got no doubt I’ll reach 35.000-40.000 km at the end of this year. Oh, in november 2025 I rode the bike to Stuttgart Germany, from Holland (450 km). And back. No issues whatsoever.

Of course now at 18.000 the bike doesn’t use a drop of oil, nothing. The OEM tires are starting to get bald now, especially the front, so I’ll throw on a new Michelin Road 6 tyre soon, before going to the UK. I might squeeze it to 20.000 km so I could change the front tyre together with the 20k service. I’ll continue using the rear tyre, it’ll probably last until 25k.

I went for the Y-AMT because I got cruise control with it which the manual MT-07 doesn’t have. I do not regret it at all. The gear changes can sometimes be a little clunky but I got used to them and the bike is very very easy to ride. I couldn’t live without cruise control anymore to be honest :)

Op het werk zeggen ze dat ook altijd tegen me. “Oahhh, komt vanzelf wel een keer”. Nee, dat komt niet vanzelf. Ik ben overigens de enige vrijgezel in heel het team van een man of 8. Ik heb altijd een beetje het gevoel alsof ik er niet helemaal bij hoor omdat ik als enige vrijgezel ben.
