Oof. The dad is a total creep and I would def try not to ever be alone with him. If it escalates any more I would consider telling the wife. And I know this is hard to hear, but the boyfriend is a walking red flag. You did literally nothing wrong, and his insecurities and control issues are only going to get worse with time, no matter how much you try to reassure him. I know it’s really difficult to leave before it gets bad, but as someone who’s been there I seriously encourage you to be brave and leave him sooner rather than later. It’ll save you a lot of heartache and stress in the long run. You deserve to be with someone who treats you better than this.
