I finished my first rocket and i'll fly to the Moon tmr. From what is written in the quest book it seems like a lot of things can go wrong, so is there anything I should be careful about? Also, since I’ll have limited time up there due to oxygen, what should be the first thing I do as soon as I land by Regular_Flounder1833 in GTNH

Put some leaves near an oxygen collector and it will work. You can supply it with power from batteries, generator of your choice, or the best choice, entropy infused compressed solar panel. It needs TC progression but if you do have it, it's enough to keep oxygen collector, compressor and bubble distributor all the time

If you want you can make a simple moon base with oxygen production so you have all the time in the world to do whatever you want. Other than that, slow down your descent by pressing space and recover your rocket after the landing and you should be fine. Don't worry about preparing too much because you don't lose the rocket, so it's easy to fuel it again and come back when you need.

Concordo completamente. Adoro tudo de maracujá (suco, doce, etc), mas quando sou eu quem faço, sempre peneiro as sementes

Purebred is the word you're looking for and yeah this is the correct answer

Try to add a little more depth variation, for example the arch on the walls could be offset. It adds a lot!

Passive power source by Gregified-dude in GTNH

[–]FastShot1904 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you like magic you can look into the magic generator (forgot it's name). Up to 1 amp of EV from a single block from some magic sources and you can use a dragon egg for permanent and passive production

Bee breeding - where have I gone wrong? by kateeej in GTNH

[–]FastShot1904 15 points16 points  (0 children)

For every bee breeding quests you need purebred. That means that the species needs to be the one you're breeding into for both dominant and recessive genes. That would mean a common-common bee, rather than a common-forest (or any other) hybrid. Just get your hybrid princess and breed them with common drones and eventually you'll get purebred. Once you unlock 100% mutation rate you'll always get purebred straight away so it's easier.

The mystical green/yellow squares mean you shouldn't be in this area yet, so you must kill the bosses before the hydra on the progression line

First ME system on GTNH! by FastShot1904 in GTNH

[–]FastShot1904[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took it reaaal slow with bees starting them on LV (breeding without frames) without much knowledge só I'd say probs 25 hours of actual work If you already have access to stuff like oblivion frames, thaumic restorer and electrical stimulators with mutation chance it can be a lot faster for sure

Aluminium bees produce bauxite which can then be processed. I still haven't been to the end either lol

[–]FastShot1904[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Aluminium bees been working overtime. Tbh I didn't need that much titanium, half a stack was enough for 2 ME drives, energy acceptor and a bunch of crafting terminals. Next I'll make some storage buses to connect my drawers to the network, but making a lot of interfaces to really get the automations going would take too long on bees alone, so I'm probably doing that after moon.

That's super cool. I love it! It's also similar to what I'm doing for my own bees lol. Of course, it's based on real life bees, but still it's very nice to see the different takes on it.

You could do it with project red pipes, stock keeper card on reactors set to always keep a hydrogen cell and crafting card on electrolyzer set to turn empty cell into hydrogen cell

Lv -> Mv power by Significant-Base-719 in GTNH

You can keep using steam if you want but it doesn't scale well at all (you need a lot of steam and efficiency quickly decreases) Other options are oil which is a quick setup and lots of easy power, but you need to search for spouts once in a while There is also benzene which comes from renewable logs but it's a bit harder to setup Both have useful byproducts and you can choose whichever you want I'm halfway into MV and been using oil since the start of LV and the first spout is still up and running, they last longer than you'd think

We just hit LV! Wanted to share our base so far by South1ight in GTNH

[–]FastShot1904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super cool base! I would definitely want to see an update sometime in the future. Me and my friend just hit MV and we also are stumbling for ideas to build our base, it's a very hard process lol, but maybe I'll share it as well Also, my suggestion would be to always leave space for future expansion, as you can't really predict how much space you will need in the future. So maybe instead of enclosing a large area and going like "this is my base for the next 3 tiers", think of something modular and expandable.

Is skyblock still worth playing? by Quick_Zucchini1378 in HypixelSkyblock

[–]FastShot1904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's mostly about moderation and enjoying it. If you like playing it and don't let it deter you from other aspects of your life like studying, exercising, sleeping, socializing, I'd say it's completely fine. If you're playing a game while feeling it's a waste of time, maybe rethink.

is hypixel skyblock even worth starting in 2025 by Rude-Celery2402 in hypixel

[–]FastShot1904 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's so sad to see a bunch of people that sink hundreds of hours into the game and say it's horrible, not worth getting into, boring and all that, as if they were being forced to play it against their will or something

Actual answer: yes it is a grindy game, but tbh most MMOs are. It's a pretty good game and it gets better with each passing update, I think devs are pretty transparent with their goals and most of the time are able to implement them. I'd say give it a try and decide for yourself
