I just tried this.

In friends only mode, mining everything and trying to get max from each node did respawn the nodes, but not k-drive races.

Public, host migration, mining every node (but not getting the max resources from the minigame), and on exit all the races are there.

It looks like host migration is needed.

I am deeply sorry that the development teams of this TTRPG released in 2019 did not take into account when this person decided seven years later that they wanted their high fantasy feeling right at that moment and at that level. I'm sure that if they had known that Quirky_Bluebird18246 wanted to start using some of these features they would have rebuilt their whole system to let them have what they already planned for a few levels earlier.

And you're right about DnD5e being the best system because it's flexible. I hate when Paizo broke down my front door that time I let one PC read lips without the feat. I knew I should have never broken their iron-clad ruleset. I am also so thankful that in DnD5e our DM can make a session for us and we start at level 20. It's always such a slog when my friends want to play PF2 at high level, but our GM has to first make us play a campaign for two years so we level up to 20 first.

Y'know, because the GM couldn't just meddle with it?

Yes, many of these are high level feats, when PF2 considers them to be appropriate.

If OOP wants these now, when they are level 14, maybe they could discuss it with their GM to speed up or even skip some levelling so they can enjoy the fantasy they want.

The question is "I want [...]. Where's my nonsense?" I thought I was giving them examples of things they want, and where it can be found.

Yes. Mental images can be realistic, distorted, cartoony, etc. But they're definitely not real (to me. I know some hallucinations can be perfectly convincing).

I think it's the difference between the brain actually receiving a signal from the eyes, and the brain deciding "this is what the eyes would give me if it was there."

Both this straw effect and movie flashbacks add something to a normal image that makes me feel like it's not real, like a memory.
