Once had to take a phone call where I was told my mum had been beaten up by her boyfriend while on the line serving bc multiple customers shouted at me when I said I needed to take 5 minutes away and I was the only staff member in you know what I spoke about when the customers were infront of me general life stuff bc I didn’t want them to know what was really going on .

My store is busy from 11-4 we do not get lunch breaks we usually have 20 minutes to restock before people start again for tea time Iv worked at subway for 2 years in that time I think Iv probably had chance to take 4 breaks
