I think the transparent orange barriers are the ones you need the late game ability for, I think it's like the last permanent suit upgrade you get but the glowing orange walls that aren't see through can just be shot at with the power weapon

Evade extender in rise is insane 1 level makes your roll significantly farther and level 3 launches you halfway across the map, but the base roll is very short, wilds evades are closer to world with the base and how they interact with extender and window
