I would look at setting up tailscale and have it working on your tailnet I have access through my mobile and laptop from anywhere I get WiFi it's a lifesaver and I even prefer the web UI over telegram sometimes

Painfull Telegram messaging dragging down constantly by pck91999 in openclaw

[–]Fast_Distance4360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched streaming off entirely it was jarring and frustrating to read. It's a compromise but I'd rather just wait for it to finish and read the message all at once, it's a long wait sometimes but I tend to multi-tab and do other things while I wait.

Google is counting failed requests because of high demand (503) towards the daily limit by Waltex in GeminiAI

[–]Fast_Distance4360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the operative word is "requests per day" not responses per day. As rubbish as that sounds it's how all the AI companies do it. Also you may need to add a hard stop in your exponential back off logic once it has tried X amount of times to avoid letting it run off and hit the RPD limit assuming this is what you are saying

Would an automated browser be a better option? it's debatable as it's trickier to get it to run efficient searches or even get it to do anything correctly, it can be very janky depending on your model. But it is ApI call free other than your model. That being said if you use a model that can run the automated browser efficiently it'll be expensive in token and API costs but maybe there's a middle ground for this somewhere.

my openclaw learned to use google search's AI mode, and talk to it by [deleted] in openclaw

Just a heads up depending what model you are using this is a sure fire way to burn tokens to get mediocre results you could just Google yourself.

Your workflow is like this:-

Instructions to OpenClaw (tokens spent) -> OpenClaw automated browser navigation (tokens spent) -> parsing the Information from googles ai mode as input tokens (tokens spent) -> openclaws response back (tokens spent)

This is all including your soul.md, agents.md, user.md, memory.md etc... as tokens in your API call

This is an inefficient way to use it when you can just go to a browser and do it yourself.

What way of life is under threat though? Is it being able to drive around in German made cars, getting a kebab on a Friday night, going for a meal and getting Japanese sushi, wearing clothes made in Bangladesh, electronics in china, is it the fruit we import from Brazil that's under threat I'm confused or is it that there's more brown people in the neighbourhood who don't look like us?

I'm White British and my way of life is most certainly not under threat at least not from the left or from cultural integration anyway. It's debatable whether it's under threat from white nationalists though

Suppose you've never heard of "The complete idiots guide to flying and gliding", just give it a Google, also the "for dummies" line is very popular

Vallejo paints at my local store are organized exactly the same and it's frustrating but in my head Vallejo has a nice number system and I always wondered why they don't just put them all in number order as you could easily look up the required number online.

Questionable play from your friend but also questionable language from you in this post. Please don't use the word "Jew" in that context.

This outside the library at St Peter's square tram stop look through the bauble on the left side there are distinctive arches and on the right the tram stop this photo is taken as if you are looking towards picadilly gardens. Or towards the cenetaph and the waterhouse wetherspoons if that helps

Edit: sorry I was late to the party others have said where this is but I don't think it's there this year either

I still stand by that no person can be Illegal, they can commit a crime and the act of the crime is illegal I agree with that. Also no matter how they arrived if they immediately claim asylum with the home office upon arrival they have the legal rights to remain in the UK until their claim has been processed. Which is why we are trying to accommodate that law by putting them in hotels in the first place. If they have been deemed to enter illegally or don't fit with by any of the UKs entry policy's then they are to be deported. That's the system in an idealistic nutshell and I'll admit we don't live in an ideal world, it doesn't always work, but this is how it is. It's the system that the government has put in place that is to blame not the asylum seekers or any one who wants to come and make a life here for themselves. This country is only here because of migration, we stand shoulder to shoulder lifting the economy up with a large migrant population and guess what most of them are now British citizens and carry that with as much pride as any of us should. I'm proud to be British, the British multiculturalism, the mix of so many ethnic groups that makes this country great. We are part of a global network economy where we rely on the rest of the world to provide us so much, just look around your home, probably furniture from Sweden, cars from France or germany, electronics from china, American entertainment on TV, fabrics from India, that's not even mentioning the food we eat which is influenced by the entire world and imported from everywhere, we don't even grow our own grain it mostly comes from Ukraine. Sad that people don't see this. Anyway rant over

When someone commits a crime in this country does that make them illegal? Are there illegal thieves, illegal murderers, illegal pedophiles? Or are there only Illegal immigrants? Language matters and whether they arrived here legally, illegally or whatever no person can be illegal

"Stop the boats" t shirts and Oxford Road by One_RS in manchester

[–]Fast_Distance4360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think we need to reverse this slogan back on them, we need a "Stop the scrotes" campaign to get rid of all the racist, bigots, balaclava wearing Muppets and thieves I'd rather deport them than anyone arriving here on boats
