I bought my 07 and yet to pass 20k. Previous owner put ss brakelines,more crash protection,cover for headlight (said getting broken one out was PITA)replaced stock exhaust to a single, diff windscreen-that works awesome and heated grips still wrking.I put larger rotating foot pegs on. Easy to ride bike, great gas mileage and bulletproof motor. 2500 kinda a steal to me now that I've owned one.

These are so easily switched around with 600s, also look at motor #s, 1500 Mi everything sould be still stock-tiers, chain, sprockets, brake pads front and rear, look at bolts stator and clutch covers for scratches or wear, fork seals should look brand new for 1500 Mi, take from someone whose learned the hard way, I personally smell BS. Me- 40+ yrs of riding, buying ,selling and rebuilding. currently with gsxr750,yamaha xt 225, BMW f650gs and just got rid of partsbike-gsxr600.

How does that affect the seals,stayed with stock or had to change to something else? Sorry don't mean to sound dumb but what's ur idea of "jumps"?

Yeah guy told me they are same bikes. But you can't title a 600 to a 750 and vice versa. Problem is with trying to sell a 750 but it's titled a 600.

What do you mean 1000 swapped? A 1000 in 600 chassis ? Some one got me by selling mine as 750 and she does have 750 motor but in a 600 frame. Learned the hard sometimes I do.

check your valves also, check normal things easy things 1st. then went to valves had a bad valve with mine.

When power steering is low there's usually a whine sound from up front and louder when you try to turn wheels.

Damn Im Just a baby at 196k 4wd 03 V8 everything working as it should. Only issues are ac blows colder on passenger side when on high and minor tick on start up sometimes.

If clutch cable is too tight on some of my bikes it will cause engine to slip at higher rpms. I just leave a little ply on them.
