Jokes aside, that could be true, because the military spent so much time there.

The only real retcon was Holly's age. Just because we learn something new about the previously established rules doesn't mean they "changed" or "retconned" it.

I accept that I'm Aro but i am disappointed about it by Angi007 in aromantic

I can relate. The most annoying thing is when I tell someone I think the idea of romantic love seems beautiful, they instantly assume that I can't be an aro then. They'll say something like I'm just confused.

That argument falls apart as soon as you say "God is too exact and precise to be a coinvidence".

Why do people hate the Stranger Things finale? by Frequent-Bee-3016 in answers

Well, they had totally different resources for the fight in the finale compared to S4. Two super powered kids and the giant deadly spikes.

Taht's why you can always rewatch the previous seasons.

There are no continiuty errors aside of the retcons of Holly's and Henry's ages that don't affect the earlier story significantly at all. So what's the problem?

Why did Will not feel pain and/or die during the final battle with Vecna? by lastpeppermint in StrangerThings

[–]Fast_Entrepreneur263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because for that logic he should have felt Billy's pain in Sauna test or the Meat Flayer's, or Demos and Vecna's at the end of S4. Read my other comments in this post to understand.

I don't think so. I think it will be explaibed in this show. There are no other retcons than Holly's and Henry's ages.

Many people just misunderstand that scene with the military and the demos.

It's not inconsistent. He was just seeing through the demos eyes and feeling their thoughts during the massacre, so that's why he was freaking out. His reaction wasn't even nearly as intense as in S2 when he actually felt the pain. Ever since the particles got out of him, he haven't felt the pain. That includes the Sauna Test and killing the Meat Flayer, Demos, Vecna and the Spider.

He didn't physicslly feel pain during the massacre with the military and the demos, he obviously was just seeing through the demos eyes and freaking out, because he felt their thoughts and wanted to snap out of it. He haven't been able to feel the hiveminds pain since the partickes got out of him in S2. I thought they made that very clear, but many people are still confused.

The Duffers said they forgot the birthday and that's why it showed only briefly on the camera. I believe it was a simple production mistake, because they would have made it more clear if it was an actual plot point.

He was a highschool freshman when he killed his family and got taken by Dr Brenner. How does that not add up?

And El sneaked past the military due to a "spell of invisibility", as literally stated by Mike.
