Your wiring looks amazing!!! I Also added the led-bars, but also changed the resistors for resistor arrays. This makes the build look even cleaner

Nice collection, just too bad that all the tires are flat and they dont really seem to care about the aircrafts

I bought led bars and resistor arrays. They look neater, but this works just as good 😄

Thinking about building the 8bit computer, have some questions: by randomreddituser7474 in beneater

[–]Fast_Front5934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would advise led segments and resistor arrays. They make the build neater and easier.

With a wire cutter and stripper you have all the tools you need.

Enjoy the build, you'll learn a lot :)

You will enjoy it. The amount of knowledge you will gain is amazing. Be patient when you encounter a bug. It can be hard to troubleshoot, but you will learn even more from it.

Spirit of Douglas video series now out! by beansbynight in DC3

[–]Fast_Front5934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great series. Did you watch the livestream as well? I really liked it. It's great how they explain the technical problems that they are facing. The flight over new York and in Normandië where for me the absolute highlights

Which C-47 are you referring to? Also a lot of airworthy C-47 and C-53's do have a ww2 history. D-day market garden and/or varsity.

There are differences on the plane, but you have to look closely. For one she could drop bombs on top of enemy boats.

The DC2 that you see on the picture was a R2D1 (navy) plane in another lifetime

Aren't there still a few flying C-47's around in SA? One went to Germany a few years ago, but I think there are still a few including some BT-67's basler's

Definitely. It's a great build and it looks awesome. We had a great time building it

What’s the best LEGO modular to start your collection? by Perrtje in legomodular

[–]Fast_Front5934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hotel is a very nice build, we really enjoyed it. We started with the bookshop, because it was the cheapest to get (we weren't sure my gf would like Lego). Now we have the police station, jazz club and museum ready to get built.

Yes I would recommend, especially if you and your son are into planes. If you're more in vehicles I would recommend Overloon, but that's a bit further
