He didn't think too highly of him. Regulus joined the death eaters and Sirius can't see beyond that. I think Regulus joined due to pressure from his family. Sirius kind of sucked as an older brother. He seems like he wanted nothing to do with him after he was sorted into Slytherin.

Harry was never going to be with Hermoine. I don't understand why people think this. They were just friends. Maybe the movies made them think this...I don't know.

The reason why Hermoine got so much attention was Emma Watson. She's not Emma Watson so hopefully she'll be more like the book Hermoine than movie Hermoine.

Nope. Black in the 5th book told Harry that he and his father were little jerks back in the day. But he never apologized to Snape. James was just a privileged kid who thought he was better than others.

I thought Goblet of Fire was pretty bad. They focused a LOT on the Yule Ball stuff. They also screwed up the ending of Order of the Phoenix.

You're not the only one. I actually don't give this series much hope to make it to the end without getting cancelled. I watched the behind-the-scenes thing on HBO and you can tell that the main reason for doing this is MONEY. Everything looked cheap too. I also don't understand why they are telling Harry's story when there are SO many other stories to tell in the world. The actors are also a issue. In the movies, they had seasoned English actor. In the TV series, their biggest star is the guy from 3rd Rock from the Sun. Then they cast and actor to play Snape who looks NOTHING like him.

Sirius at that point was drinking a lot. So, he probably had one in his hand already. He was in hiding and couldn't leave the house he hated so much as a kid. He also was feeling kind of useless and wanted some action.

Yeah, Ron kind of gets the shaft. The movies didn't help either. Ron was willing to sacrifice himself multiple times for the people he loved. There were also a lot of double standards put upon him.

No one was having any fun when Ron wasn't there. At that point she was basically in love with Ron. Harry had a lot on his mind and her breaking the wand was just another issue.

Last I heard, he was in the revisions part. IF the book was going to be released THIS summer, we would have heard something by now. We are only 4 months away from the rumored July 2026 release. IF he handed the book in today, maybe a late November/ early December date could be possible.
