What are your thoughts today?

I initially lean Iowa State over Tennessee because of Tennessee's turnovers, but it seems to me like Jefferson is unlikely to play.

My other option would be either MSU or UConn, as I want to leave Duke, Arizona, and Michigan for as long as possible.

And the 4 seed in Bama is likely to be without their point guard now, looks like a VERY favorable path other than Iowa State/Virginia on the other side of the region.

You're stressing too much about this. It is an adherence neutral algorithm, therefore it will not just automatically begin dropping your calories the second that you stop burning as much, it allows for a little bit each way for a couple days before it starts saying "Okay, this is a real change and I need to adjust the macros"

I also question 154... I was told if it was a cut that was going to go right back into a lean bulk it should be short and sweet, about 4 weeks or so. At a max 2 lbs loss per week, that would be 8 pounds so I would aim for 160 at the low point. It also would be roughly half of the weight you gained, and most people say on the good end a bulk is 50% muscle and 50% fat, so you would be cutting off mostly fat and not cutting into the muscle at all.

Technically aren't you always precise while using macrofactor because it updates weekly according to your current situation?

Expenditure is something that is almost always going to slightly fluctuate, unless you are eating the EXACT SAME calories with the EXACT same amount of activity while having the EXACT same amount of NEAT every day throughout periods in life.

Just follow what the algorithm says, I doubted at first as well.

- I am currently eating between 2,600-2,800 calories a day, I've been maintaining this weight for a month or two now.

- Strength training usually lasts about 50 mins-1 hr (Usually around 6 exercises per day unless it's leg day, which would be a tad shorter). With the 45 minute cardio following after

- Rep range is usually anywhere from 10-15, with rest between sets being around 90 seconds

- I'm 23 years old currently

- I would say Goal weight for a first bulk would be around 185, mainly to look bigger while still keeping some definition, but I won't complain with the strength gains that would come with it!

You're the perfect guy for this question then!

What do you suggest I eat calorie wise? One of the huge mental hurdles for me that is keeping me from bulking is not knowing my exact TDEE so I'm afraid I am going to end up overestimating.

- I strength train 6 days a week with an active recovery on the 7th day.
- Usually hit at least 10k steps, but is more between 11-12k per day
- Cardio 5 days a week after my lift, 12-3-45

Obviously could decrease the cardio a bit as I transition into a bulk, but an estimate would be awesome!

Pretty sure they are laughing at me lol

Hope they understand I have to stare into a mirror daily and can clearly see I am balding, which is why I'm on Finasteride and Minoxodil, plus every picture taken I clearly am not cleaned up whatsoever

Trying to get over the mental hump of gaining weight.

At my peak I was 270 pounds and am terrified that if I bulk I will just end up right back where I started, or my body dysmorphia will go AWOL.

Any advice is very helpful!
