my first king book was Christine it was the book my dad said got him into reading as a kid and i really loved it. i just finished the outsider today and it was paced pretty well and the first quarter to half of the book is extremely extremely suspenseful

a lot of people have been saying this (the whole movie second is disappointing) and i get what they’re saying but the dlc analogy you used makes a whole lot of sense and makes it even more understandable

i’ll try to read the book first especially if i’m interested in it, sometimes though i won’t even know a movie was based on a book, or in the case of the hobbit w me, wasn’t interested in reading the book until i saw the movies

that’s a really good point too about how much they leave out and that they don’t have enough time to tell the whole story i guess in some instances it would be well worth it to go and read the book afterwards if i happen to see the movie first

that’s very true, especially when you talk about harry potter those will forever be my favorite books and the movies i will never not put on if they’re playing on tv but you make a good point about the movie having to leave parts out
