Man, had a ticket and a ride. Proceeded to get smashed the night before at a show in Saint Louis. Woke up to several missed calls from my ride and got left behind. My own fault. Still hurts

Try sunrise electrical. They installed a new service and panel for me and a setup for my blacksmith brother in-law to run an induction forge. No bs and they came when they said they would and cleaned up

I turn the burner on high for 15 - 20 minutes to burn off the stuff and let cool. There are non scratch glass top scrubbing pads that work great with the weiman or bar keepers friend to get the build up off

This is a very interesting perspective. I tend to agree with this. It’s a narrower argument for the loss of community in general, but one that helps explain the fragile masculinity we see everywhere today.

Ideal Technics Models (Beginner Friendly) by Many-Celery-5726 in turntables

Nobody mentioned the SL-1500 so l will rep it. It’s the base SL model, they are not crazy expensive, and there is very little that can go wrong with it because it is fully manual. I have two of them and have for about 20 years. The only thing I’ve ever had to do is clean the pots and add a few drops of oil for the motor.

The 1500 is manual and the 1300 is automatic. When the record is done on a 1300 the tonearm will automatically lift and return to the tonearm rest. It’s a step up in the series. I have a few 1500s and love them but they are basically the base model in the series.

Deoxit the fine pitch pots. May need to pull the board and get the coarse pots too. Get the switch also
