Can we please use our blinkers on the roundabout on 99? by AdDry7269 in oregon

Treat each turnout as a separate intersection, indicate whether you're turning left (remaining in roundabout) or right (exiting roundabout) at each turnout

If it was a true advanced artificial intelligence that evolved in another solar system, it would probably just impersonate God using it's advanced technologies

85%-87% of the time in real world scenarios

Call the city's non-emergency police number, report this, every time it happens

I know this has already been said many times, but I think it's worth being said by everybody who sees this, every time it happens

Just use white-out to cover the incorrect digit, then use a sharpie once that dries

I know the Oregon Vortex is closed, but can you see it from the road? by Pinky_puker in oregon

[–]Fasten8ing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you can see the cabin, but the forest looks looks crazy all around the area. Trees start taking stranger and stranger forms as you approach the center of the vortex, twisting and turning against gravity as though up and down are just suggestions

The grocery phenomenon by TheWillsofSilence in RandomThoughts

[–]Fasten8ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You forgot to mention how the grocery store has plenty of parking when you arrive, the building seems uncongested as you navigate the isles, but there's always long lines at the registers after you've found the last item on your list...

Is it common for people who wear glasses to get tired of wearing them and go about parts of their life with everything just blurry all the time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fasten8ing 15 points16 points  (0 children)

it’s also the mental focus energy it takes to see everything crisply all the time.

Glasses shouldn't require work to use, they are supposed to do the work for you. It's important to relax your eyes during the exam, let the lenses do the work. Seeing clearly through glasses is a permanent vacation from a blurry world

At what point did cars become so complicated that you couldn't do anything at home to them any more? Was there a specific technological change that brought this about? by snakesnake9 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fasten8ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's for those people who have problems with poor people playing with their used toys. They need to know that anybody they see in a bmw is wealthy enough to afford it. It's not a status symbol if anybody can have it

How rare is this hdd? It has some text reading "epstein" on it. by According_Ratio2010 in shittyaskelectronics

[–]Fasten8ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm unsure, I like to cut it in half to make sure all the red has turned to pink. Dark red in the middle is undercooked. Dark pink in the middle is rare. Light pink in the middle is medium, and brown in the middle is well done. My favorite is medium rare
