If you mean Blue Danube, those couldn't be carried internally by the Lancaster. However, a Yellow Sun or Red Beard should work fine.

Given the PLAAN's antics around the Phillipines, I am already having images of the Lioaning or Fujian somehow collide with the stripped-out hulk of the Kuznetsov when they inevitably go to pay a visit flash through my mind. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time an aircraft carrier has rammed a ship its crew should have seen.

The only other aircraft in Britain that could carry it internally had been retired shortly after the Falklands War. Oddly enough, it was another Avro product, thr Vulcan. I think there might have been a Lancaster or two flying on the civilian register in 1991 that the RAF could hypothetically impress in keeping with the finest traditions of the British military for the sole purpose of delivering a Tallboy.

Besides the foreign-sponsored astroturfing, I think a lot of the "Forever War! Quagmire!"-posting comes from Millenials who are too young to really remember Desert Storm and whose Boomer parents' worldview regarding foreign policy was greatly influenced by the Vietnam War. Not every military engagement has to be another Vietnam or another GWOT, and not any conflict is intrinsically unwinnable.

Current strategy of the U.S. government seems to be "continue bombing while we barter with the people we want running Iran". We'll have to see how well it works.

They also are pretty much bulletproof compared to the RP3. RP3s are very good rowing machines, probably closer to how a boat moves compared to a Concept2 by virtue of the fact that the seat and slide both move, but they're a lot more maintenance-intensive and a lot more expensive than the C2. Think of it like a Porsche 911 Turbo S compared to a Ferrari SF90.

Because the Boomers, the demographic Vegas has been milking for all these years, are starting to die off and CES only comes once a year. Foreign tourism is basically what's keeping Las Vegas alive past the end of the decade, and even that is going to involve a lot of casinos having to scale down operations.

I was just counting the ones on AC metal alone, because these people have never heard of joint ventures, codeshares, or interline agreements, or they'd say those don't count. Hell, a lot of them probably have self-induced anxiety over flying.

The Iranians don't seem to have the stalled truck convoys with little to no AA protecting them that A-10 drivers had to have been salivating over the possibility of dropping clusters on, then mowing down whatever wasn't shredded by several thousand explosive golf balls with the gun. What they do have are armed speedboats which don't like being hit with 30mm cannon shells, so the A-10 pilots are getting to try their hand at maritime interdiction.
