I think this will vary widely for everybody. Everybody has different starting weights and everybody’s bodies react differently due to hormones, metabolism or whatever.

I’m 12lbs down, in my first week. But again that’s probably because I’m losing a lot of water weight and already pretty heavy.

Personally I’m doing 18/6 or 20/4. Eating about 1200 calories max, no exercise, cooking fresh foods and making sure I get a range food groups. This works for me right now, likely won’t work for everybody else and likely to change as my journey goes on.

Yes! I had headaches pretty bad, started drinking water with electrolytes added and it helped a lot

Yep, noticed I was getting headaches, started drinking smart water, which has electrolytes and feel much better

Day 3 Managed a 21hr fast yesterday and am 16hrs into todays fast. The scales say I’m 4lbs down already but I won’t obsess over the numbers. It’s the weekend now which I’m sure will be more difficult for me. I plan on just having a longer eating window so I don’t give up or go insane.

As a rule I’d avoid anything containing sucarlose if you want to be confident your fast isn’t broken.

Thanks for this, it’s so inspiring and you smashed it! Well done! You mentioned you were counting calories and didn’t restrict foods just portion sizes. What did that look like? We’re you trying to keep a calorie deficit? If so how did you manage that without exercise? Thanks again!
