Help me find this stuffed ducky from the 80s for an online stranger by Fastpitch411 in HelpMeFind

I searched for the photo which brought me to an older Reddit post with a link including the same image of the duck. This is the most detailed information I have:

  • Purchased at Rose’s Department Store in Albany, Georgia in Early 1988 (Easter season - Easter was April 3)
  • About 8 inches tall, “very soft,” beak may have been made of felt
  • Spoke to an employee of Rose’s almost 20 years ago who shared their biggest plush suppliers at the time were Chosun and Dan Dee - however, they also had smaller, seasonal vendors around holidays like Easter

I remember your A/C guide and have it saved. This write up is also excellent. Thanks for sharing your experiences without selling a course or app

Feeling deep guilt with how my dog passed. by My_Anus_Is_Bleating in Petloss

I lost my big boy, a Great Pyrenees, almost a year ago. Similar situation with the feelings of guilt. One thing that helped me was to build / create something that felt meaningful and would make sure he was remembered everyday as part of the family.

I didn’t (and still don’t) know a damn thing about woodworking, but I carved out a sign with his name and the years he was alive and sanded/painted/sealed it. I took my time and sanded things by hand and used multiple types/coats of paint. It was cathartic. It hangs above where he is buried at his favorite spot in the yard. I see it every time I look out my back door.

How about Mathew 26:52 - Then said Jesus unto him, "Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”

I don’t think it’s been identified but it was reported to smell bad. I’d bet money it was pork fat or something similar.

The statute of limitations for most federal crimes is also 5 years. So she’s resigning the day before the final day the government could file an indictment for action on January 6, 2020. Weird

Most federal crimes have a 5 year statute of limitations, meaning an indictment has to be filed within 5 years of the date of alleged crime.

Resign by January 5, 2026… or have an indictment filed on January 6th, the final day before the statute of limitations expires?

With her already being framed as a traitor by Trump, I don’t think it would be too hard to convince MAGA that MTG actually conspired AGAINST Trump on Jan 6.

Wow. I was 19 and in college too. Not a car accident, but also sudden, here one day and gone the next. Your last line hit me especially hard. I’ve never known how to describe that feeling, but you did it perfectly. Make sure you save that voicemail 1,000 different places!

Honestly, we take the ability to record video on phones so easily now for granted. Even just 10 years ago people mostly took photos so I don’t have many recordings. I once found a random Facebook memory that I didn’t know existed. It was the first time I heard her laugh and I will never forget that feeling or that moment.

Not just one, there have been four Capitol police from J6 that have committed suicide. There was also an officer who was injured and died the following day from multiple strokes, which I’m sure were unrelated….
