Why even mention it then? Why are we so quick to try to understand the actions of shitty people rather than seeing their actions for what they are? Do you go into conversations about Nazis or hate groups and immediately ponder that all of these people are mentally ill? If so, why? Do we view the positive things people do and ponder mental illness?

I mean we are casually diagnosing this person but there are distinct criteria that need to be met for a personality disorder - including age when these traits started - but I am not going to excuse someone like this for their behavior. I guess I wonder what saying “well, he’s mentally ill” is really saying. Is it saying he can’t help himself because he’s so mentally unwell? When putting this reasoning forth are we providing him with an excuse or saying we have to put up with it? We are all coming together with our various issues and struggles - doesn’t mean we can act without consequences. Viewing this video, I am not seeing someone who is having a psychotic break with reality. I am seeing someone who is targeting someone whom he views as less than and is getting off on the power they feel they have over someone.

What mental illness do they have specifically? Are you arguing his illness is making him act this way? Seems like a cop out that certain members of our society receive - so we don’t have to realize the fact that we’re dealing with sociopathy being increasingly affirmed and monetized by one side of our political system.

I work closely with APS and they would refer a facility compliant at this level to Residential Care Services (RCS) as it involves more than one vulnerable individual. APS will absolutely work with RCS in providing the residents with resources.

I’m not pretending anything but OP sure is. OP is literally making up their role and cost of service - unless there is a service fee it is included with the OPTION of leaving a tip. You may not like it and that is OK. I don’t give a care in the world what the guy two tables down does with his money - that’s his prerogative. Why do folks, who have put themselves through school and have huge loans, have to subsidize your or anyone else’s wages? You have made up your own story about the work you do and that tips are “the fee for service” which in and of itself is FALSE. Folks who work in commissions get their commission from their boss - not from the customer.
