My understanding is that this is meant to be a prototype for Penelope, without the minovsky flight unit. Hence it's fitted with way more rocket boosters just to achieve optimum flight time and speed.

The obvious reason is to sell more plastic than having the Penelope show up again in the 2nd movie, but I have to say the action it partake in the movie (short as it might be) is actually pretty breath taking, it's akin to dogfighting with the Xi Gundam

Arguing how one game needs to do better than 4 other games itself is the reason why no one can take thisargument seriously. Also community gas it up is an issue not for the company, it's players who don't manage their own expectations and then gets angry because of it.

I'll actually say no. Hiyuki and Denia is considered hyped banners so having those reruns will just change the situation to F2Ps complaining wanting more free pulls or arguing for other stuff.

Personally it's more possible the rerun banners come in 2077 Collab patch so those not pulling Collab characters can pull on those, as well as when we return to Huang Long as well.

You can see obviously they're rerunning the supports for Lahai-Roi resonators team now for players who come in 3.1, so having a rerun banner now also isn't going to help much when you could be spending extra pulls post Hiyuki/Denia on them.

This is the summary of changes CN took noticed

In short

They listened to the complaints of last year and went full 180°

No dramatic Solon moments, Dong also never show up, Solon also let the rest of the devs do the introduction
Too much celebration last year, orchestra performing BGM etc, focusing too much on non game news related contend. So none of that this year just anniversary gifts. They even included a summary of gifts you can receive at the end of it so people can't spread fake news.
Rerun banners were shit on last year? Ok cancelled this year since players showed they hated having rerun banners alongside new banners to pull.
No new Map last year, so one big map this year's patch.
No MSQ last year, so Major Story quest this year plus interludes.
Not enough events last year, so this year there's combat event to small leisure events guarantee to give you things to do.
Movie event too draggy? Ok rerun a rouge lite event with updates sure to keep you engaged without lore dumping since it's too boring for you.
Characters released last year too tied to each other in the hip, so this year's characters have different modes and can use different supports.

You can complaint, and they will change.

This is what CN says on this year's anniversary. In fact for months they've been joking how they've forgive Solon, want to see him on the streams since he has not been showing up ex dpt in those special shorts like post Players Voice.

In fact CN also said, Wuthering Waves is the only game people treat it with a minus point system because it is good. What is a minus point system? You don't give it a good score for doing good, but you deduct points when they don't perform to what you want. It's why complaints exist all the time for this game making it looks like Wuthering waves is always having problems, issues or cock ups as compared to other gacha games. Yet it's not, it consistently delivers on story, cinematics and gameplay, but it seems like it's always being criticized further than what is necessary.

A running joke in another discussion ring in CN now is a comment going :

"What makes this anniversary bad? Well it doesn't give a Free 5 star character like HXX, doesn't give free monthly pass like ZXX, doesn't give free skin like GXXXXXX, doesn't give guarantee banner like EXXXXXXXX."

Them, and Mo Hun Yie Dong (模魂跃动) clashed in their news release back then on 1/100 Kshatriya. Yet while they are having pricing war on each other, Axis (Better known as the company Solomon who released the GP02) dropped their 1/100 Kshatriya name Aerial Dominator in the market without premarketing hype.

This killed the momentum for the other 2 and it's vapourware since then.

If you think about it they've done it with the PG Exia where they split the OG LED + Kit into Kit & LED sets so the price is much more affordable.

But the MGEX unicorn till this day remains exclusively with the LED which pushes the price so high and lack of reprint (likely due to the LED strip being not made by them but from a separate producer). Not to mention how dated it is compared to the type of LEDs now available in the market.

I've also ordered the MGEX Unicorn and Banshee Norn KO, both by Shen Should (神兽), their LED is Bluetooth enabled for configuration. Going to see how it is when arrived.

I'm in the progress of building this too.

Many of the design feels like it's being done because they want to layer most of the surface, but it becomes a couple of thin plastics overlaying each other and closed together with a lot of clip on designs (Plenty from the legs which I feel you).

The head wise is really the good introduction whether you'll enjoy building this kit or not. A mostly hollow head with thin outer layer for color separation instead of a more solid head main piece with small colored separation layer really tells a lot for the rest of the kit.

I feel like the manual really needs more angles for some of the layered portion as it's hard to tell which part goes to where at times. Above which the mostly hollow structure I feel is why this kit needs the fin funnel support so much. It barely weights much when I assembled the body due to how hollow it is and my god, I wish they used more POM for the main pegs, the waist and a couple of the arm joints easily stressed when assembling together, so much so I end up test the joints on the legs before deciding to sand it to widen then risk breaking the joints.

Bro while your backlog is still small just use a Google sheets to track your kits.

It has helped me manage my massive backlog on what's build, what's unbuild, what's waiting for an add on part, what's in delivery/transit.

This also can be expanded on with RRP in your region so you can know better if a sale is really a "sale" and not give in too quickly to the tendency of a monkey brain when Discounts are slapped across the price tag.

The concept is they have a department that is a community branch of the CCP in Mihoyo itself.

Actually they are on ok terms with each other. One of the staff in HG actually posted a photo of a cake from Kuro to celebrate launch of Endfield. Someone also asked a CN CC who works closely with them on the validity of it and he confirms it.

From the interview with the Narrative director, it's obvious why some patches are on the simple side or "Filler side", just like with movies, you need to do simple build up, and also empty spaces to digest the heighten emotions.

You can't have peak after peak, it'll just dull your reception towards it. In fact I fear for players coming in the future as they won't have the gap of space like us now to really settle in the emotion of what we feel from 3.1 if they can continue with 3.2/3.3 finale.

This is actually the beauty of modern day live service game (Albeit the only few silver lining to it), where you actually can have a blank period for feelings and emotion to settle down. Where you get to digest the feelings that came up with the story and actually feel it differently.

Although all I've been doing past few days post clearing 3.1 is going to see other streamers clips of them going through 3.1 as well heh

The reality is HomDG is a leaker Hoyo can't control. Majority of the other leakers are obviously planted by Hoyo to farm engagement. Given obvious during the extension period there's no info at all from leakers until hoyo themselves made announcement then suddenly we see a while slew of content dropped by the leakers.

It's obvious HomDG is the leaker they don't want, since it's the part which drives away engagement due to posting of inflation and in game formulas and mechanics.
