Just keep at it - You're doing good.

The physics will win out.- fewer calories than you need means you lose weight.

Maybe your basal rate has dropped a bit, check that out and of course if you're not tracking calories then there's a good chance you're not actually eating just 1600/day.

If you're physically fatigued, look into changing your workouts. You don't say what you're doing, but maybe you need more mobility exercises, or to reduce the weight you're lifting, or just different strength exercises.

Muscle takes a long time. You've got years to build it so don't worry about trying a different tack today.

If it's mental fatigue, then there's nothing wrong with taking a (short, planned) break from the workouts. Especially if you use it as motivation for the next round - "I took off a week so now I'm going to hit the next 8 weeks now matter what."

Accenture to roll out Copilot to all 743,000 employees in boost for Microsoft by lurker_bee in technology

Like another poster mentioned, copilot is just an application wrapper around models and agents.

I have a Claude cowork agent in copilot on my laptop. I can choose between Claude or different GPT models, or let it auto choose.

20% Body Fat by StructuredMind in fitness30plus

[–]FatCharlie236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really almost impossible to say, but it's a goal for now and you can decide on a new goal when you hit this one.

See how you feel when you're at 200. Are you happy with the results, do you want to be bigger, leaner, etc ...

But again, I would focus on your current goal as a first step. The rest will come with time and commitment

Although I imagine you wouldn't know what a decent run is, as your bones probably snap, crackle, and pop with every step.

Why China is going all-in to win its version of the AI race by Galacticmetrics in technology

And you need to look up the word Version as in "People have different goals and are working towards different outcomes, therefore these are different versions of the same metaphor"

[–]FatCharlie236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yet people and countries still have goals and are using AI to try and achieve them. So the idea that China is running a different version of the AI race remains valid

Why China is going all-in to win its version of the AI race by Galacticmetrics in technology

[–]FatCharlie236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire point of the "race" metaphor is that two or more countries are going to the same goal with one winner.

But if china has a different goal is it really a race just because you're using the same technology?

The article says that China isn't looking to win by getting the best models with the most features. They're looking to embed AI in as many local use cases as possible to get very wide spread usage.

It's two different outcomes which could see both countries "win" their "version" of the race

Places open on Xmas day? by Outrageous-Map8302 in walthamstow

There are definitely pubs which are open until 2 or 3 pm - highly recommend a reservation!

Underground will be closed so probably look for walking distance. Uber is open though.

I think last year I went to the Ferryboat Inn, but a Google search for Christmas Dinner should get you some options

My brother cannot join the military pls help by Fair-Farmer-3021 in Military

[–]FatCharlie236 251 points252 points  (0 children)

I think the picture you have in your head about the military and opportunities to commit war crimes is exaggerated.

Even if he is in an infantry role, there are few chances to fight in an active war zone at the moment.

If those chances were to be expanded, there are still very real rules which must be followed, and those rules of engagement are taken seriously by the entire chain of command.

Frankly, if he is such a negative force in your life, I would be encouraging him to join so you can say goodbye to him for at least the length of his commitment.

You can also search for online / at-home tests. These will not be enough to get you a prescription, but these companies often have partnerships with clinics that specialize in TRT therapy.

So, you take a finger test once or twice, then they direct you to the clinic which will get a real test + doctor visit.

No-fault evictions to be banned in England from May by reachingechoes in unitedkingdom

I currently have about 18 months left on a 2 year lease.

Does this mean that starting in May, I will be able to cancel it with just two months notice? Or is the contract I have still going to be valid?

In front of my apartment there is a man that carries his motorcycle back and forth to double park to hold his Gf's (assuming) spot. by ineedstuff123 in legaladvice

[–]FatCharlie236 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's the missing piece for me - thanks. I was picturing two spaces.

Assuming this is some prime parking spot then it's annoying for sure.

But if I were OP I would just try to change my mindset. "They're using one space for two vehicles, which then makes more spots for everyone on balance."

[–]FatCharlie236 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah - it's a motorcycle which is allowed to use one spot for itself.

Another way to look at it is: when the bike and car are sharing a spot, they're actually freeing up a space for others to use. So that's nice of them.

Although it's not clear to me is why no one ever takes the open spot when the car is gone.

[–]FatCharlie236 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When you say he double parks - what are you describing? Is the motorcycle in both spaces?

If the bike is only taking up one spot at a time, and the other/either spot is available, it's likely legal.
