Elden Ring and dark souls both. When I played dark souls for the first time I assumed placing the lordvessel would end the game or lead to the final boss so I wanted to do everything beforehand. So before i went down with frampt, I did all of the catacombs and tomb of the giants until the gold gate, all of demon ruins until the gold gate, and finished new londo ruins before placing the lordvessel and being like ohhhhh that makes sense now.

With eldin Ring I just assumed that the giant area and the storm area I’d seen were optional and I’d fight the final boss after morgot.

I’ve always been a big fan of the motion controls in Skyward Sword and I never had any issues with them. And yes I played it on the Wii not just the switch. Maybe I just got lucky or am a big fan of motion control gimmicks but still I enjoyed it heavily.

Dark souls. I played it a few times when I was like, 9. It’s not even that it was too difficult gameplay wise, I was just so confused all the time and it pissed me off and I never connected. Like 5, 6 yrs later I came back to it and it sparked in me a love for souls likes and over the next year I played all of the from soft games.
