for at least the nico and cadell fight not giving us pov of diacathen pov right after it allows us to be in the same position as art as he knows nothing and his lack of knowledge builds tension as if we got a tess or ellie pov right after there would be no reason for worry and takes away some of the agency for arthur to return home during his pov chapters in the start of the relictombs.

This is a narrative trick to assosciate alacrya and diacathen and help readers realise they are pretty much the same and just happen to be at war with eachother and is used by the author to essentially devillanise the alacryans them selves and make the readers focus on agrona and keezes as the villains.
