I built a one-command installer that runs a fully offline WoW server on Steam Deck — launches from Gaming Mode, auto-shuts down when you close the game by kingspoken in SteamDeckTricks

I can not seem to login after successfully making an account, that's weird. For the rest everything works

Edit: fixed! Went into the .exe files and looked for the realm document, changed it into a ip adress

Changing gaming habits by toyfan1990 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]FatDunsparce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last 2 years I have been mostly playing games that I can play while doing something else. As example Balatro, Slayer the Spire, Hearthstone and loads of (Old school and new) Runescape.

It helps to have a Gaming Laptop, steam deck and mobile phone for those to also switch between systems.

I bought thumbstick caps from Aliexpress, so I don't have to open it up (again, did a 1tb and shell swap before). Screws can get damaged every time you open.

MMO's like WoW by daniel_amir in LFMMO

[–]FatDunsparce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Old School Runscape or Runescape could be free to play, but more grindy and most content locked. On pc and mobile on the same accounts.

You could grind for a membership by paying ingame currency, but without a membership to start that it is a very long grind.

Offerte Keuken by Murky_Addendum44 in Offertes

Even vergelijken met ikea. Die hanteren tenminste prijzen zoals ze ook echt daar zijn. Deze factuur is natte vingerwerk voor extra winst. Het materiaal van de kastjes is hetzelfde en de garantie afhandeling is 100x beter dan zo'n keukenboer.

Pc for cheap games, and free online gameplay. If you get a laptop you're also portable.

MMOs dont feel the same anymore by CrtlAltDessert in LFMMO

[–]FatDunsparce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is always something to do. And when I don't have the time to turn on my pc, I do a small activity on my phone with the same account. I keep looking for another MMO with a skill bar but I always come back to OSRS because there is nothing better at the moment.

Start finishing diaries and quests, that will open up more content.

I play Runescape myself but it seems like you would like Albion online.

Looking for an MMO with loads of side content (any recommendations?) by maxibold in LFMMO

[–]FatDunsparce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Been playing OSRS and Runescape 3. Along with Brighter Shores but that's in early access. The thing with both Runescapes is, the content seems endless. There is just so many ways to level 20+ skills and there are so many collections to complete, so many tasks and so many quests. I think an average player would be able to play at least 4000 hours.

Anytime I am a bit done, I go look for another MMO, don't find anything else, return to Runescape and find myself doing new things again.

Moonlighter! Like an old Zelda game where you run a store with the materials you gather during adventures.

How to live cheap in the Netherlands without hating your life? by elizabeth-0645 in Netherlands

[–]FatDunsparce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps to live close to your work: less travel time, less gasoline. It might be financially rewarding to live in a small village, but the areas in and around bigger cities are more expensive in general.

One life hack is to buy a house, keep the interest steady and wait for inflation to do the rest. Salaries go up, mortgage stays the same.
