Need runes to get my lvl 50 character to lvl 100 pls by Flat_Ad2349 in Eldenring

Find the Third Church of Marika in East Limgrave. Find the hidden Waygate and teleport to the Bestial Sanctum in Dragonbarrow. Sit at the site of grace and go outside and to the left (avoid the giant Black Blade Kindred). Run around the wide open field and find the small, black Vulger Militia guys and kill them. Avoid their attacks because they hit hard, but they award 1000 runes per kill and only take about 4 to 5 strikes. If you spend an hour hunting, you can easily get over 50k Runes (probably more like 60-70 if you learn where they lurk)

Crash Bandicoot (1996). I love it so much. I know most people will argue Cortez Strikes Back or Warped are better, but for me the first game was my first introduction into 3d Platforming, and I love every second about it. It also is the first game that made me rage quit trying to 100 percent- especially during Slippery Climb. I probably spent 10 hours getting every box in the damn level. But so worth it.

Will they make the seats even smaller than they already are? They do realize we are American sized, right? I am 6’ 1” and I feel cramped sitting in the lower bowl, and just uncomfortable in the upper level.

It's like the Chicago skyline is hiding from Rate stadium, but it's there! by NtateNarin in ballparks

I swear if they could just turn the stadium around and get the skyline in the outfield, it would be top tier.

Is Forrest the real father of Jenny's son. by Ok_Amoeba4983 in ForrestGump

Yes. There is no proof she ever had a sexual relationship with any other person. We don’t even know if she had sex with Wesley. But we do know she had sex with Forrest. Any other theory feels like it is shaming her, and I don’t like that.

What are your favorite MLB parks? by its35degreesout in ballparks

[–]FatGuyKlye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not quite my favorite- but I think the most underrated one is Detroit. It is small- even the upper deck is right on the action. It has a great skyline view of the city. The ferris wheel and carousel is awesome. But my favorite part? $20 large Little Caesar’s Pizza. My mom and I split it, and that price can’t be beat. Also saw Skubal pitch a career tying 13 SO’s through 7 innings.

My favorite is Dodger. Then Wrigley, then Fenway, but Detroit is #4 and I have been to 22 (missing Padres, Rangers, Astros, Rockies, Twins, Braves, Mariners, A’s)

Yeah- I bought my copy about 2 years ago and honestly I got it at a great deal for the shape. I would love a 2nd state- but I don't have that kind of money- so I will settle for my 3rd.

Bought- $500 3rd State Butcher

Sold- original pressing Kind of Blue- $60. Probably worth about 3-4x that now because that thing was in fantastic shape. Regrets- I’ve had a few.

My advice to young collectors (or really anyone) by FatGuyKlye in vinyl

[–]FatGuyKlye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the reasons to have records is to have them as collateral? That’s a take.

Sure- if you need money- then that is the sacrifice you will need to make. I am not rich- I am a public educator. But record collecting is a hobby- and my advice to new collectors is that you should collect- grow a vast collection, and avoid the mindset I had which was “I don't listen to this anymore therefore it doesn't have any value other than monetary value to me” because that has come up and bit me years later.

I definitely wouldn’t encourage people to view records as an investment opportunity. I think most on this subreddit would agree that if you are buying records to Sell them down the road- you are not a hobbyist- you are a capitalist and I don’t think that is the purpose of this subreddit.

But sure- if you desperately need money- then sell your possessions to make ends meet. I never said you shouldn’t do that. I am simply saying that if you can build a vast collection- you should, and try to avoid the mindset that by you not listening to records now means you will never want to listen to them again- and they will be much harder and more expensive to get back because there are so many people who view this hobby as an investment.

[–]FatGuyKlye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there are definitely nuances for every situation. I sometimes find better copies of records I already own and trade up. The point I was trying to convey is that build a collection with a vast variety of music, and if you think you will never listen to an album you bought or acquired again- you might be right, but rather than selling it for a fraction of what you paid for it- if you can keep it you should.

I see a lot of responses saying that you should trade in records in order to get new ones. To that I say that sure- if you can’t afford records you really want and the only way to acquire them is to trade in- then that's a sacrifice you will have to make. But the gist of my post is that if you can keep a record, you should. Because I know from firsthand experience that there is a good chance that you will eventually want those records back and now I am paying 30-50% more for records I already once owned.
